I saw that Eamonn Dolan has been linked to the job again in one article I read. I hope that's unfounded speculation and he doesn't want to go there, thought Leeds may have got the message in the summer that the club aren't interested in letting him go.

Humm, not that funny really as he's not leading them, because he's not the captain, nor manager.

Even the manager came out and said the board has cost them points and a cup by not aquiring enough players. Not sure that will go doen too well.

The manager seems more than willing to let players go, rather than bringing them in, at 60m a pop, I'm not sure how far the board will go to let him bring in many more players. Going back to Blind, he looked good in the world cup.

They've signed several players, and I think they've spent more money than anyone else this summer. Isn't it the manager's job to choose which players to buy?

I think he told them which players to get and to get them before the season started and they haven't. I imagine they were defenders. Man u spent twice as much last week than Burnley have in their 150 year history so no excuses really

Mourinho talking out of his backside yet again... In the Everton v Chelsea game, Coleman sliced the ball past Howard, and Costa ran in and picked the ball up and ran past Coleman on the floor clearly taking the p*ss. I guess being Spanish, he doesn't understand sportsman ship? Howard took offence and took him on, but of course to Mourinho, he did nothing wrong and was chased into a yellow card. Looks a great player, but as Martinez says, needs to learn to respect other players. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29000964

I don't think all the transfers so far have been his decision. Luke Shaw and Anders Herrera were both signed before he started in the job, and certainly with Luke Shaw there was speculation about United's interest before the World Cup started. How much he knew about Shaw before he arrived I don't really know. Great win for Reading yesterday, albeit a fortunate one. I didn't think we'd win ugly this season but we've done it 3 times now. If we can get some players back from injury (I made it 11 out at kick-off yesterday) and keep defending as we have done when scoring first this could be an interesting season. But i'd take a top-half finish, all about the long-term for me, first time I've said that in a decade.

they reckon rojo is a done deal pending a work permit and blind, rojo was a cb at club level moved to lb for argentina and blind can play lb,cb and cm so some nice versatility there, jones with the right defenders is a good enough cb but I feel they still need a big marque cb like hummells from dortmund and with shaw back soon at lb they wont be far off having a decent defence but you would expect so for 100m

Damn, I was hoping he'd keep them down there a bit longer, they are one of my tips for the drop this season.
