Churning out the same manufactured sh*te over and over. I could probably count on one hand the credible artists that have came through xfactor , all the rest are just attention seeking karaoke singers. Support local bands who turn it out live everyweek who are thoroughly deserving of a contract , who work hard every day and play instruments to get get by on a weekly basis......

I agree that the whole show is a mess, the only reason I watch is because every year there are some contestants I like.
I don't mind starting the rankings again this week..
01 (02) Fleur East - It's A Shame 02 (03) Jack Walton - Straight Up 03 (01) Chloe Jasmine - Fame 04 (06) Ben Haenow - Jealous Guy 05 (04) Stereo Kicks - The Boys Of Summer 06 (11) Only The Young - Come On Eileen 07 (05) Jay James - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) 08 (07) Lauren Platt - Flashdance... What A Feeling 09 (09) Andrea Faustini - One Moment In Time 10 (08) Lola Saunders - Imagine 11 (10) Jake Quickenden - Total Eclipse Of the Heart 12 (13) Stephanie Nala - Call Me 13 (12) Paul Akister - If You Don't Know Me By Now 14 (16) Stevi Ritchie - Never Gonna Give You Up

The only act I like this year is Fleur East, her performances are the strongest and consistent if anyone needs a record contract is her, she has got diversity, from Rap, Ragga and R&B, we don't another pop act or another pop band too many of them. I don't mind Only The Young as they remind me a bit like Steps, they have got potential but need improvement, but I can see Louie shoving them Cover Versions to do. The only thing I'm watching for is Fleur East she just ticks all the boxes and lights that stage up every weekend.
The rest are so dire and boring and I bet the public will vote for the 8 piece boy band as the girls will love them and the OAPs and housewives will get the Andrea votes, my guess those 2 will be the final 2 acts.
The girls and the boys group are dire, Lauren is probably the best bunch of the girls, and the boys can all get stuffed for all I care, Andrea and Chloe are just one trick ponies.
Stevi and Jake need to get rid of tonight, one less joke act and Jake can't even sing a note to save his own life, all I heard from his performance last night was mumbling.
Pheww!!!! got that off my chest now.

Before the live shows started I thought the girls and boys were the strongest categories. Now it's obvious that the overs have the best (3 of them at least).
So far I'm predicting Fleur, Andrea, Stereo Kicks and Lauren to be the final 4.

They have tried to change it so that, instead of doing straight covers now, they are mostly doing rearragements. That is so they can say it is not "karaoke" and they "made it their own".
I do not believe the singer has any part in choosing these rearrangements, and whether or not it works is not dependent on the vocalist really, who are all reasonable vocalist.
The public probably prefer the songs to sound like they did originally. Much of the voting audience is older-generation. They voted for Chris Maloney week-in week-out years ago for singing straight covers of old songs. I think the one that did the Rick Astley cover is going to have an advantage for that reason.
For me, I thought the blues version of Jealous Guy worked ok, and most of the others were a total disaster, especially the two Irene Cara covers.

Unfortunately Jake should have went along with Stephanie.
That 8 piece boy band is doing my head in, it seems they all over the place, 8 is just too many I can see Louie dumping a few of them as Louie didn't even wanted an 8 piece band he admitted it on the Xtra factor.
Chloe for me was like flogging a dead horse, so I wasn't too bothered with her going. On whole I wasn't too bothered who went tonight, after Fleur and Only The Young was announced they were through.
Hopefully Jake and Stevi get dumped next week.

Where on earth did Stevi Ritchie pull that voice from? He's been singing bad throughout the series and just when he's in the bottom two he pulls out one of the best vocals of the entire series! That definately saved him.
As for the Band Aid single, i thought it was rubbish! Too slow and boring. Even Band Aid 20 had more about it than that. The original still the best and always will be. Not knocking the charity though!

Are you kidding? I thought Stevie sounded terrible, as expected.
I'm glad Jay has gone because he bored me, but I'll be quite peeved if any of the others go before Stevie now. Really enjoying both groups and Fleur. The rest aren't on my radar anymore.
