Here we go again, another year, another end of year chart. During the year I add every song I charted into a big playlist (including a few I didn't chart if I discovered them 6 month after they released it). I then make a list of every song that made my top 10 and for how many weeks or if it topped my chart or stayed top 5 for a few weeks and I use that for the basis of my end of year chart, then I listen to them and move some about depending on how much I still like them, there might be a few re-releases , post grat or the odd track from the back end of 2014 that topped my chart in 2015 but then this is just for a bit of fun and at the end of it I have a nice 2015 Spotify playlist

400. Red House Glory – So EasyFirst up is a band Thorney introduced me to, the hotly-tipped London four-piece Red House Glory, Peaked at #27 in my chart and hung around for 3 weeks www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVyTg4NB48k 399. Of Monsters And Men – EmpireThird single from their 2nd album which if I'm honest was a bit of a let down 398. Circa Waves – My LoveThe first of 4 Circa Waves songs to make my end of 2015 chart but will any of them chart higher than "Stuck in My Teeth" did last year in my 2014 chart where it reached #11 www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP60K_OaCCY397. Max and the Moon – TurbulentAnother band that has 4 songs in my end of year chart and this is the lowest of them, expect big things when they release their debut album hopefully next year www.youtube.com/watch?v=W90P-SXVbmM396. Foo Fighters – OutsideNot one of there best but a bit of a grower, featuring Joe Walsh from Eagles 395. Young Rising Sons – F**ked UpOne band a few people might not know of yet, they are an American indie pop band that recently signed with Interscope Records and went on tour with Griswolds, Weezer, Kongos and most recently The 1975, peaked at #55 in my chart and hung around for 4 weeks www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhupL4Io6-s394. Foals – Give It AllAnother slow burner, expect two other songs by them to chart a lot higher 393. Mating Ritual – I Wear GlassesFound these guys by accident when I stumbled across their single "Hum Hum" 392. Ninja Sex Party – Road TripComedy duo that never disappoint if you like 120 sex puns thrown into one song, if you haven't checked them out they are well worth a listen www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qmU9JLTDy0391. The Darkness – BarbarianFirst single from "Last of our Kind", bit of a let down for The Darkness but they more than made up for it with their next single "Open Fire"

I love that Circa Waves song, that's the one that reminds me of New Order with the guitar on it, also loving the Foals, a real grower is Give it all.

390. Sonic Boom Six – No Man, No RightOne that has just made my top 75 recently, currently at #27 and rising, back to their ska roots after previously heading in a more dubstep direction 389. Walk the Moon – Different Colors5 weeks in my chart and peaked at #24, the big question is how well will "Shut Up and Dance" fair, stick around to find out 388. Crocodiles – Crybaby DemonA band I discovered thanks to the wonderful "Sunday - Psychic Conversation #9" being entered into HIT/Havenvision www.youtube.com/watch?v=X631ovnTBdQ387. FAIRCHILD – Stay Young6 weeks in my chart peaking at #34 after their previous single "Hot Rod" made it to number #1 386. Duran Duran – Pressure Off (feat. Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers)Another more recent one, barely troubled my top 40 but hung around several weeks 385. Plain White T's – Pause
6 weeks in my chart (back when it was still a top 50!) peaking at #41 www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAnChA7HrbU384. Frank Turner – Glorious YouAnother artist I was a bit disappointed with, I wanted to like his new album but its not a patch on previous releases 383. Shannon and The Clams – It's Too LateA song that hung around for 4 weeks, they are an American, Oakland-based, indie garage punk trio. Known for a vintage sound that incorporates elements of doo-wop, classic R&B, garage psych, and surf rock www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJalyeHLzjg382. Crystal Seagulls – The StrokeA band I saw live in 2014 that made my 2014 chart with "Toetapper" #136. "The Stroke" Spent 4 weeks in my chart and peaked at #31 www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLrmsjlsQno381. Simple Plan – BoomPromotional single from a band I got into in about 2004 when all my then gf would listen to was pop punk, decent return

I love that Circa Waves song, that's the one that reminds me of New Order with the guitar on it, also loving the Foals, a real grower is Give it all. At the time it never made it above #48 in my chart but did hang around for 7 weeks, great band, saw them live in 2014 when I went to the Y Not festival even though most of the crowd were about 15 year younger than me ha

Yeah, I'd like to see them live, but don't want to appear as old enough to be their dad, or even worse, granddad

Their audience is terrifyingly young, girly and screamy. I was scared stiff when I went to review them at the Leadmill in Sheffield.

Same with Catfish and The Bottlemen when I saw them but I thought atleast they like decent music rather than some X Factor reject

I always play "spot someone older than me" when I go concerts, and I've never been the oldest at Black Keys, Franz Ferdinand and Kodaline You'd hope if there are lots of screamy girls at Circa Waves that they'd get a hit at some point

380. MS MR – Painted
(pronounced Miz Mister) are a New York-based American duo who have skirted my charts a few times www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhx0IWXUMOA
379. Then Comes Silence – Animals
Formed in 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. A fascination of death, doom, spiritualism and corruption has gathered the members of THEN COMES SILENCE, together with a predisposition towards noiserock, goth, shoegaze and psychedelia. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsJchXC9PAU
378. Mull Historical Society – Keep Falling
Otherwise known as Colin MacIntyre, he is a Scottish singer, song-writer, and multi-instrumentalist that is probably best known for "Watching Xanadu" and "Am I Wrong" released 13 year ago but his latest single spent 4 weeks in my chart peaking at #46
377. The Creases – Point
Indie band rom Brisbane, Australia, this one only hung around for 3 weeks but is a bit of an underrated indie pop gem www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq6YsdVoi0w
376. Leon Bridges – Smooth Sailin'
A nice little throwback to '60s-soul a la Otis Redding and Sam Cooke www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYplnRjMVhM
375. Imagine Dragons – I Was Me
Currently climbing my chart sitting nicely at #30, not one of their best by a long way but their best is hard to beat
374. Royal Tongues – Cut Me Loose (feat. Little Daylight)
8 weeks in my chart peaking at #33, the first of three songs by these guys to make my top 400 so one I recommend people check out www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ0YloDJla0
373. Courtney Barnett – Nobody Really Cares If You Don't Go to the Party
8 weeks in my chart peaking at #22 and also has two more songs to feature in my countdown, an artist more people might recognise, also from Australia
372. The Rimes – The Feeling
From Wolverhampton, The Rimes spent 7 weeks in my chart peaking at #41 www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQN7KsUde_0
371. Marsicans – Gone in a Second
From Leeds, Upbeat indie meets dirty pop from the north of England. Spent 6 weeks in my chart peaking at #22 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZcOJmqEhJ4

370. Mumford & Sons – Ditmas
Next up is the third single from this years album "Wilder Mind", expect some much better singles to come
369. Cardboard Kids – Vibe
Currently riding high in my chart at #17, who knows how high it can go but for now this is as high as I could place it with such a strong list of songs coming up www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkzQjqqWqJI
368. Eagles Of Death Metal – Complexity
First single from "Zipper Down", sadly they will be forever known as the band who were playing during the Paris attacks, hopefully some good can come of it and he band use this much deserved publicity and score an xmas number 1
367. Florence + The Machine – Delilah
Not their biggest fan I have to say but I did like several singles from their new album
366. Of Monsters And Men – I Of The Storm
Another underwhelming single from "Of Monsters And Men", whilst most of their new releases are nice they lack that special element that made me fall in love with them
365. SEAWAVES – Castles in Air
A band I stumbled upon this year, they can be hit and miss but some of their stuff is brilliant www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLXoKQB8qzo
364. Kassassin Street – Radio Silence
A band I hope make it big, they have 3 songs in my countdown and with their debut album yet to come I look forward to hearing what they come up with www.youtube.com/watch?v=mazN3N7rdv8
363. Editors – Life Is a Fear
I don't like the direction they have gone in with the new alum, usually they would litter my top 100 but their new stuff is just boring and pretentious, sadly they have disappeared up their own arse and this is the only song that stands out amongst mediocrity
362. Drenge – Never Awake
Another band that on first listen released a rather disappointing 2nd album but the more I listen the more I appreciate www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUGtRO5A0h8
361. The Royal Concept – Smile
Not in the same league as 2013s "On Our Way" but a decent tune

360. JAWS – What We Haven't Got Yet
Jaws are an indie pop band formed in Birmingham, probably can be better described as surf pop, another band to skirt my charts over the years but this was their highest charting song www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2EU2pmz6RY
359. Wolf Alice – Bros
A song I have no doubt others will chart highly but only one of their songs for me has been great and it will chart near the top a bit later on
358. The Family Rain – What Are You Afraid Of?
Currently #30 in my chart and rising, they managed to chart at #7 in my yearly countdown last year with "You Should Be Glad You've Got a Man" www.youtube.com/watch?v=anxUAy-YeCc
357. Halestorm – Apocalyptic
Loved their last album and this is probably the stand out song from their new album www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PXkCAiV0Ww
356. Johnny Marr – I Feel You
Johnny Marr is releasing the best material of his solo career and this is another quality tune to add to the list
355. The Dandy Warhols – Chauncey P vs All the Girls in London
Undoubtedly and unmistakably Dandy Warhols, nowhere near their best but nice to have them back www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0ahdvhrEic
354. All Tvvins – Too Young To Live
Another band Thorney told me about, they almost had 3 songs in my top 400 but "Darkest Ocean" just missed out
353. Ash – Free
Four songs released off their new album and all four feature, shows how highly I rate Ash, they have just released a fourth single "Let's Ride" which will l go straight in at the top of next weeks chart
352. Hunny – Innocence
The other "Hunny", more of a grungy sound than "HUNNY" who will chart higher up, confused? I know I am, out of all them possible band names two call themselves the same thing
351. Foo Fighters – Saint Cecilia
Another song maybe a victim of being released so late in the year, having only listened to it for he first time 2 weeks ago its hard to chart near the top ahead of songs that had topped my chart throughout the year, currently at #12 in my most recent chart

Bros is far too low, gorgeous song! Really like Ditmas by mum fords as well, along with Complexity, and Florence - Delilah.
