[ Ok but it would have been it had a staggered release it was top 10 in mids anyway There is no logic to these really. It is true though where have all the international groups gone , EODM are good but only get nomination out of sympathy

Little Mix should be wondering what they have to do to be included in the British Group Category - bigger hit and more album sales then One Direction.
Always amazing that, when you are restricted to 5 noms in a category, only the bland rise to the top. There was so much more going on in music in 2015 - another really bland show in the offing....

... and Madge should have had a nomination for just making the show interesting last year!

but I wouldn't have nominated Madonna either, give her a lifetime achievement, that's ok, but Rebel heart was no good

and Amy Winehouse nominated?, seriosily what little credibility the brits had before will surely be gone now. Amy Winehouse is an absolute treasure and a lost talent but why is she nominated here? Does this mean David bowie will be nominated next year? I dont get this at all.

new material was released, that Amy Documentary, so that's their rationale for including her Bowie will be 100% sure nominated next year

Why does the best single and video noms have so many similar names, and when did we start giving noms to nondescript videos, just because they're by a big act, or it sold well. Let it be about the video, and nominate something different, just stupid. It has to be said. Can anyone seriously claim with a straight face that any of those ten British acts videos nominated deserved to be nominated ahead of this: Or this: Or this: Totally agree. It seems they have went for the popular song rather than the video.

We could do Haven's alternative Brits? People send me their top 3 in each category, and we see who comes out on top?

Florence has released like 6 amazing videos last year but I think it's based on the number of views, think I read it somewhere, same as best single being based on best sales...

Correct
From the Brits website:
This year’s shortlist is a veritable who’s who of British music - hardly surprising considering the 10 videos are selected based on the number of YouTube views.

Youtube can do one, get a panel to nom clever/entertaining/innovative videos etc, would be much better.

The only unexpected win for me was Catfish And The Bottlemen. I had thought one of the more poppy acts would've snatched it.
