Which song is your all-time # 1 ? Any classic hit, maybe something low-known or you don't have any constant # 1 ?

Impossible to say, it changes all the time.

I think this BBC version is better than the one on the b-side to "Dead Popstars". It is beyond perfect. That primitive piano underlying elevates it into the primum mobile. The song is simultaneously nostalgic, uplifting, surreal and adorable. Every time I hear it I think I'm walking on the moon into the Milky Way hand in hand with my love while surrounded by angels.

A song recorded as part of its corresponding album sessions which started on the day I was born; it has been my all time #1 since I heard it as a child listening to Radio 1 in the late 1970s and wont be beaten:

Yikes!! I could probably name a top five with a bit of thought process, but to nail one - looking at most played on certain devices tell me: Timoteij - Kom, but would probably also say Diana Ross "Chain Reaction" or Donna Summer "I Don't Wanna Get Hurt". Maybe "The Sign"?

I have three that swap all the time but the number one will probably me this, for me it is the finest crafted pop song ever.

By a narrow margin ABBA Knowing Me Knowing You The number one single on the day I was born, good choice! I am very lucky, if I had arrived on my due date it would've been Chanson D'Amour

There's so many songs that come to mind when answering this question, but in the end it always comes back to the same one - Common People by Pulp. It's just perfect.
