Trump out! Beaten 6-3 by Nigel Bond! Bond showed the old boys can still play. I think his coaching of the younger ametuer players is helping him.

Some things are more important and if he feels he's not in the right place mentally to be able to play, you have to respect that. It will be interesting to see if he's part of Eurosport's coverage.
Meanwhile, Ding is through to the final in York after beating Yan Bingtao and will face either Stephen Maguire or Mark Allen.

In a pretty stunning turn of events, Stephen Maguire has just beaten Mark Allen 6-0 to advance to the UK final. That was the best I've seen him play in years.

Lots of shocks at the Masters so far with the first 5 matches all won by the lower ranked player. Higgins and Wilson have bucked the trend but nevertheless, it'll be a quarter-final line-up no-one was expecting.
1st round: Judd Trump 3-6 Shaun Murphy Ding Junhui 3-6 Joe Perry Mark Selby 4-6 Ali Carter John Higgins 6-1 Barry Hawkins Neil Robertson 5-6 Stephen Maguire Mark Allen 1-6 David Gilbert Kyren Wilson 6-2 Jack Lisowski Mark Williams v Stuart Bingham
Quarter-finals: Shaun Murphy v Joe Perry Ali Carter v John Higgins Stephen Maguire v David Gilbert Kyren Wilson v Williams/Bingham

Also, the China Open has been postponed due to the coronavirus. No word on when it will be played but if it's not this season, it could have implications regarding who does and doesn't stay on the tour.

Neil Robertson wins the World Grand Prix, beating Graeme Dott 10-8 in the final. By my reckoning, Dott is the first player to play in a ranking final in 4 different decades.
The back-to-back sequence of tournaments continues on Monday with the Welsh Open.
