i don't think i'd ever listen to a tribute band, because i have a thing about when i buy cds, it has to be the original artist singing
it drives me crazy when i'm listening to an album and the people singing arn't original singers, the only acception to that being cover versions

I thought the ending was total crap. Wish I hadn't bothered with it. i foolishly missed the ending. my record was set to odesey, while i was watching a song for jenny. so i'm going to have to catch up with black work on ITV player either that, or watch it next saturday. acording to the tv guide, they are showing the repeat after harry potter

if i stay.
not what i expected,
but it was good
it was about a car accident that forced a teenager to think about if life was worth fighting for- since it would never be the same

I watched this on the iPlayer this evening, as I made the error of watching the second episode of Black Work on Sunday night thinking it would improve on the first (Surely there must have been times during its filming that Sheridan Smith thought to herself that some episodes of Two Pints Of Lager and A Packet Of Crisps were better than this generic cop murder drama). I absolutely loved this. It reminded me of a cross between the first series of Homelands and 24. Plus it is a handy reminder that Anna Friel was/is one of Britain's Best Actresses even though she now mainly makes films & TV shows for American audiences. you really don't like black work do you. i think it's really gripping

Chris Squire, the bass guitarist and co-founder of 1970s British progressive rock band Yes, has died, says the band. He was 67.
Squire, who appeared on each of the band's 21 studio albums, passed away overnight in his adopted hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, according to a statement.
The London-born son of a cab driver had reportedly been suffering from acute erythroid leukaemia.
With his trademark Rickenbacker 4001 bass, he was widely hailed as the leading bass guitarist of his genre in the early 1970s.
"It's with the heaviest of hearts and unbearable sadness that we must inform you of the passing of our dear friend and Yes co-founder, Chris Squire," the band said in a statement on its Facebook page.
"For the entirety of Yes' existence, Chris was the band's linchpin and, in so many ways, the glue that held it together over all these years."
Bandmate Geoff Downes said on Twitter he was "utterly devastated beyond words" by the news.
Yes were formed in 1968 and their big break came a year later when they signed to Atlantic Records after opening for Janis Joplin at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Their debut single, Sweetness, and first album, Yes, were released later that year.
Other albums included 1971's Fragile, 1972's Close To The Edge and 1977's Going For The One.
In 1983 they released 90125, which featured the No 1 hit single Owner Of A Lonely Heart.
Squire also released a solo album, Fish Out Of Water, in 1975.
The group's most recent studio album, Heaven & Earth, came out last year.
They attracted a large following with their mixture of mystical lyrics, rambunctious harmonies and the powerful falsetto of lead vocalist Jon Anderson.

found the first episode of this extremely dull. (says the person who was looking forward to it)
guess the trailers mean nothing when the actual show is not something i'd watch on a weekly bases

I will tune in, not least as I found last Sunday's part 1 of ITV's Black Watch starring Sheridan Smith to be hugely disappointing and formulaic. "black work" couldn't resist what's wrong with it i love it so far

taken from the tv guide, here's the description of tonights's final ever top gear with jerimy clarkson
Motoring magazine. This episode features two films that were shot for the last series. In the first film, Jeremy, Richard and James immerse themselves in the lifestyle of the traditional classic car enthusiast. Armed with affordable classics including a Fiat 124 Spyder, a Peugeot 304 Cabriolet and an MGB GT, the trio set off on an adventure that features brown beer, breakdowns and a hair-raising classic car show. In the second film, Clarkson, Hammond and May try to become lifestyle leisure enthusiasts with the help of some incredibly cheap lifestyle leisure vehicles. Restricted to a maximum budget of £250, the trio buy three massive mileage SUVs - a Vauxhall Frontera, a Jeep Cherokee and a Mitsubishi Shogun - and then embark on a series of action-packed challenges that include battling with the Stig's Leisure Activity Cousin and a race with terrifying consequences for the loser.

US action drama series. The lives of three strangers - a stranded female soldier, a disillusioned corporate attorney and a disrespected political activist - collide when they uncover an international military conspiracy to fund terrorist activities. During a mission with her special ops Task Force 24 team in Mali, North Africa, Sgt Odelle Ballard stumbles upon encrypted files that prove a major American corporation called the SOC is secretly funding terrorists. She copies it onto a flash drive before the untrustworthy private military group OSELA show up. After an attack on her unit, she becomes the sole survivor and must make the gruelling journey back home. Meanwhile, former US attorney turned business investigator Pete Decker uncovers corruption in the private sector at his new job, and G8 protest organiser Harrison Walters suspects a government cover-up when a fellow activist hacks into Sgt Ballard's webmail account and finds her distress signal.
this starts tonight on BBC2 and does not sound too bad from the description

It's a few years since I saw Summerslam. I used to limit myself to the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania each year but I now have the WWE Network so I tend to watch the PPVs the next day. i think the last time i actually watched a wrestling event on paper view was royal rumber 2000 but since then i've been collecting all the events on dvd every year, so i've not really missed anything

newcastle united.
and i say that very loosely- i only support newcastle so that when someone asks me.. what team do you support?. i've got an answer for them
last time i watched a newcastle match on TV... i can't even remember
but at least no one can tell me i'm boring for not supporting a football team.

They have released 3 singles to date. 09/08/2014 Bars And Melody Hopeful 5 {5}-31-54->3 28/02/2015 Bars And Melody Keep Smiling 52 {52}->1 18/04/2015 Bars And Melody Stay Strong 53 {53}->1 Given the lack of support for the last 2 singles they may have shelved the idea for an album. Obviously each to their own in whatever music you choose to like. I got pummeled on here for liking the music of Glee Cast and Barry Manilow as for some members it was not Indie or Rock. Music diversity for everyone i agree, we all like diffrent music. if we all liked the same thing, life would be pretty boring. if it's any consilation, i like some of the music from glee. bust your windows was the song that made me a fan and i really don't care if people turn around and say to me... well, you're not allowed to like glee, or anything else i like for that matter, because it just means they are narrow minded and can't accept that other people like things that they don't.
