I should hope so too as that tracklisting, whilst countrytastic, would be lacklustre to us Brits! I have heard that the UK version of the album will have UK artists in lieu of the country ones. Deke

30 years after his death, Presley's classic 'Baby Let's Play House' remixed by progressive DJ/Producer Spankox, will receive it's September 1 2008 debut as the first Vinyl Disc single to be released in the UK. The 'Baby Let's Play House' Spankox remix release on Vinyl Disc is a special compact disc (CD) playable on a normal CD player, and on a traditional 33rpm turntable too. This brand new media boasts one A side (vinyl) and one B side (CD), and in the tradition of the recent Elvis single releases, the packaging of this original Elvis Presley Vinyl Disc will also resemble that of a 12" vinyl. It will include a radio edit version, an extended version and the original Presley song, plus as a bonus, the Spankox Re:Version ringtone will also be included. Deke

Fuller acts claim record 17 places on Hot 100
Simon Fuller is this week claiming the greatest domination by any artist manager in the history of Billboard’s Hot 100 with his acts occupying 17 slots on the chart.
The 19 Entertainment founder overtakes the previous record of 14 set in 1964 by Beatles manager Brian Epstein largely thanks to the latest American Idol winner David Cook and runner-up David Archuleta who between them clock up a record 14 new entries on this week’s chart.
Their showing is led by Cook debuting at number three with The Time Of My Life, one of 11 tracks by the singer on the chart. The recording also tops the Hot Digital and Hot Digital Tracks charts, which 19 Entertainment says takes to 179 the total of number ones achieved by American Idol contestants. This run began in October 2002 when the show’s inaugural winner Kelly Clarkson reached number one with A Moment Like This.
Archuleta’s three songs on the Hot 100 are headed by a cover of John Lennon’s Imagine, which enters at 36.
Fuller’s tally on the Hot 100 is taken up to 17 by his act Jordin Sparks’ duet with Chris Brown, No Air, sitting at number five, Carrie Underwood’s Last Name climbing 37-19 and Daughtry’s Feels Like Tonight.
Epstein achieved his tally of 14 simultaneous hits on the chart in April 1964, all Beatles songs and led by Can’t Buy Me Love at number one.

The top five managers worldwide according to recent research carried out by ‘Billboard’ Magazine are: Colonel Tom Parker: 148 million records sold Dutch-born Svengali who masterminded the career of Elvis Presley from 1955 onwards after persuading RCA to buy out the King's record deal with Sun. He was instrumental in every major move in Elvis's career, especially his controversial decision to concentrate on making films rather than music after leaving the army. Irving Azoff: 122.5 million records sold Along with David Geffen, Azoff, pictured third from left with The Eagles, was the biggest noise in the West Coast music scene throughout the 1970s, 80s and 90s. He began promoting bands while still at the University of Illinois, including The Eagles, Steely Dan, REO Speedwagon, Stevie Nicks, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses and later Christina Aguilera. Simon Fuller: 116 million records sold Started out promoting gigs on Hastings Pier before joining Chrysalis where he made his name signing Paul Hardcastle, whose Vietnam-inspired single "19" sold three million copies worldwide. Despite long-time associations with Cathy Dennis and Annie Lennox, it was as manager of the Spice Girls, below left, and then creator of the television talent show Pop Idol and later American Idol for which he is best known. Bob Doyle: 116 million records sold Fired by an impassioned belief in the American Dream, the former music business executive mortgaged his home to promote the career of the then unknown country singer Garth Brooks. It was a gamble that paid off handsomely as Brooks became one of the biggest selling US recording artists of all time. Doyle served with the Tennessee Air National Guard during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Peter Grant: 110.5 million records sold Former sheet metal worker and bit part actor, Grant, pictured left with Led Zeppelin, was shrewd and ruthless in equal measure. His first break came with the Yardbirds, later charting the fortunes of Led Zeppelin. He worked tirelessly to safeguard the financial interests of his charges, retiring from the scene following their split in 1980. Brian

Tonight (25th) Celine Dion, utilising hologram technology, will duet with Elvis on his classic song 'If I Can Dream'. The Special Edition of American Idol, fetauring many stars, is being done for worthwhile charities throughout the world.

As an Elvis fan since 1956 I cannot get enough of the man. The more releases the better in my opinion as they remind people of his importance and longevity.

I am really looking forward to some innovation from Elvis Presley's record company. I would like more remixes and a 'Duets' album.

My tastes in music are:-
(1) Rock 'n' Roll
(2) Blues
(3) Country
(4) Gospel
Why oh why do the UK artists and groups totally ignore such musical genres. After all, these genres are where pop music sprang from!!!
