Oh ho ho... what a great episode! Almost felt like the old school Walking Dead with the walkers running rampant inside. I wish they'd move out of the Hilltop actually - not keen on the setting there.

The video (and her album) is out! I love it. Nice to have her sisters in the vid too.

After Simon's betrayal maybe he'll be the leader of the Saviours and Negan will go on to the "good" side.

Interesting and possible theory - yes. However I always thought they added the priest cos middle-America felt the show lacked any religious input. The first few seasons were very atheist in thinking, then it suddenly all changed to include more faith.

Haha - yes Enid did make a speedy return. And why on earth did they (Enid and Aaron) leave each other in the first place? In a post apocalyptic world I would never want to be left alone and I certainly wouldn't leave a teenage girl alone either. Unless they're all seasoned survivors and know the lay of the land now, who knows.
I actually tune out when Eugene speaks, so I totally missed his catapult suggestion - which sounds absurd.

Yep - just a whole lot of nothingness really. Not really a bad episode, but just not a lot of action - which is also fine. And because there are so many story arcs and I forget which group is where, I had no idea why everyone at the hilltop was crying lol. But after a minute or two I realised it must've been cos of Karl's death. Anyway at least Rick has returned so we can get things moving.

Yes the helipad was mentioned which is why I remembered the helicopter.
I wasn't keen on the junkyard people either, but what I meant was that the scene was great... or unexpected... Simon opening fire like that. I was like WTF! Plus Negan still has no idea what Simon did, so lots of little things going on.

Yowzahs that was a great episode! Things are finally moving on. Loved seeing the female hidden tribe again. Loved the junk people bit with Simon - she can finally form complete sentences lol. Can't believe they left her behind despite her misjudgement. And all that Rick n Negan stuff at the end... very interesting.
And let's not forget that helicopter from a few episodes ago - that's still unexplained.

I did like Carl - being young he brought a different dimension to the whole situation. But I respect his decision as an actor to try some new roles.
I watched the episode - was trying to stay focused and not get distracted. It was a little sad seeing Carl go at the end. Not a bad episode, but not amazing either. One of those "have to get through / have to be done" episodes.

Haha, just raced from YouTube to post this and it's already been done. I agree - harks back to a different era, but still current. Nice breezy tune.

Time for a clip of a young Michael McIntyre sat two away from Sarah Greene taking a phone call Ahhh the infamous phone-in. Good thing they all looked amazing as all publicity is good publicity. This episode of Going Live aired on the 1st April 1989 thus probably an April Fool's joke / dare. And apologies for my frozen chart. I keep looking at the new charts but when the New Entries don't excite me, then my chart kinda stays the same as before.

Stranger Things is great! Second season even better than the first. On first viewing I got a little bored of Stranger Things s1 as it got a bit too sci-fi'ey but thankfully I picked it up again and wasn't disappointed. If you like the 80s, you'd appreciate it even more.

What a dark double episode - and I say dark cos I could hardly see a f'ing thing! Took me a while to realise who was where. Thankfully they did a little head count at the end.

Nice to have you on board Meister, even if your chart will help pop songs more What can I say - I likes what I likes, haha. This particular chart run is very pop heavy though. I think coming of age in the mid 80s had an impact on the rest of my music taste. I don't love all pop music though. As you can see Wham's "I'm Your Man" didn't make it into my top22.

Great – thanks for the clarification. As an 8 going on 9 year old, 1985 was when I truly got into the music charts. I remember taping a whole load of these off the tv as a kid. As I grew up outside of the UK, we had a heavy US chart influence, so I’ve taken a few from there as well. This was the first year I started buying 7” vinyl (Feargal Sharkey and Aled Jones lol). Prior to that it was just the odd album on cassette. Biggest albums this year were from Five Star, Whitney and The Jets!
1. Whitney Houston – How Will I Know 2. Kool & The Gang – Cherish 3. Five Star - RSVP 4. Madonna - DRESS YOU UP 5. Diana Ross – Chain Reaction 6. Whitney Houston - SAVING ALL MY LOVE FOR YOU 7. Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin - SEPARATE LIVES 8. Go West - DON'T LOOK DOWN 9. Feargal Sharkey - A GOOD HEART 10. Stevie Wonder - Part Time Lover 11. Band Aid - DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS? 12. Nik Kershaw - WHEN A HEART BEATS 13. A-ha - TAKE ON ME 14. Dionne Warwick and Friends - THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR 15. Starship - WE BUILT THIS CITY 16. Lionel Richie - SAY YOU SAY ME 17. Miami Sound Machine – Conga 18.Level 42 - SOMETHING ABOUT YOU 19. UB40 - DON'T BREAK MY HEART 20. Pet Shop Boys - WEST END GIRLS 21. Aled Jones - WALKING IN THE AIR 22. Doug E Fresh And The Get Fresh Crew - THE SHOW

I've always wondered how these Combi-charts work. Do you just make your own top chart from what's listed?
