Would that be your 'favourite 100 songs' or your 'best 100 songs' even though you may not like them personally?
If I drew up the two charts, the songs I think are the 100 best all time songs would be nothing like my favourite 100!
Daphne and Celeste for the win!

Actually, to be fair there are a few decent tracks in that list... BUT... is there anything left to say about them that hasn't been said a zillion times before? Yes, there are some decent tracks, but is being a decent track enough to qualify it for the top 20 songs of ALL TIME? Lets be honest, very few of them are worthy of that honor.

I would have put 3 or 4 of them in the list, no more. Most of it is rubbish.

I'm sorry, but I really don't like it.
Well, it's not really that I don't like it, I just would have expected much much better from them. It's just a bit....blah.

you are all deluded, he will be lucky to finish in the top 10 I thnk it's really difficult to guess how it's going to do. It'll certainly stand out, that's for sure, but I don't think anyone can say whether it's going to be well received or hated.

Vikki Love Is Ryder Runner In The Night Jessica Garlick Come Back Vikki came 4th, Ryder came 7th, and Jessica came 3rd. If anything that proves my point rather than disproving it - when we enter a decent eurovision song, we do alright. We've done badly recently because we enter crap.

I disagree with everything littlechicken says. We have had some poor songs, but we have had some good songs as well, I'm sure. Examples?

I can't stand people who say it's all about politics. It's not. We always come bottom because we enter sh*t song after sh*t song after sh*t song. Other countries enter some of their most famous and established artists, we enter reality tv rejects. Of course they're going to do better than us. And yes, neighbouring countires often vote for each other. Is it political? No, it's mostly because people who come from similar areas have similar musical tastes. Sure, there may be a few people who vote for someone 'because they're next to us' but they are the minority. If we want to win, we have to enter a song that will appeal to EUROPE, rather than to the UK. The decision of what to enter needs to be made by a select panel of judges who actually understand what is needed, rather than the general public who vote for people because they voted for them on that tv show they were on. That said, I love Daz

The Journey South single is a cover? It's goddawful. You simply MUST know the original Andy! It's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face as made originally by Roberta Flack (of Killing Me Softly fame) I hate that song so much! It makes me so angry. It takes them about a year to sing a single line, and just goes on forever. The first time....(30 miutes later)....your faaaaaaaace. Oh, shut up already and go back to bumming each other.

Yay for Daz! I actually think it could do quite well, it's instantly rememberable, and it's about growing up and looking to the future - exactly the kind of thing that does well at Eurovision. And it's hilarious to boot!

The thing is the year we have a good pop song, a bloody ballad wins it, then the following year we have an ok ballad and a pop song wins it. The voting is an absolute joke, we say it each year, but it is getting worse and worse, we will not get points from certain countries whatever we put out there, yet we are one of the 6 who fund the chuffing competition. I could not agree more. There is definitely quite a lot of political voting e.g a large number of Irish people living in the UK or Turkish people living in Germany who vote for their "mother " country and the actual song takes second place to the performance. Yes, that's right. The UK always do badly because the voting is political. It's got nothing to do with the fact that year after year we sent sh*t song after sh*t song to Eurovision. The last time we sent a decent song (Jessica Garlick - Come Back) we came third. If we send a decent song again, we will do well again. That's all there is to it.
