Ronnie's going to have to play better than he ever has done to win tonight. Dott just needs 1 frame for a place in the final. Ronnie hasn't seemed right mentally all tournament, with the stuff with the tips and everything. This morning, it seems that he finally imploded and it's almost certainly cost him a place in the final.
Peter Ebdon's just won the deciding frame against Marco Fu to reach the final for the 3rd time.

I don't think the high break prize would be much of a consolation for Ronnie (unless he gets a 147 tonight. That would rule.)
It would be a shame if there was only one frame tonight but it wouldn't be BBC's fault. It's just the way the sessions work, in that they play 8 at a time and Dott has been left needing one to win.
As this is the final tournament of the season, I'm not sure when the next one will be. Next season's schedule hasn't been announced yet but I would expect the season to start in August or September, depending on how many tournaments are on the calendar.

If Ronnie can win tonight, I can turn my socks into sugar. It'll be interesting to see how he copes though.

He's doing quite well here I must say, and let's face it, if Ronnie can't come back like this, then no-one can.

At the end of the 10-frame session last night, which ended at 12:45am, Dott has an 11-5 lead. This final has been so disappointing so far. I hope we're yet to see the best from either player, particularly Peter Ebdon who has been completely out of sorts.

Agreed. Ebdon looks tired after his semi-final and Dott seems nervous, knowing this is the best chance he'll ever have to win the world title...
An opening-frame century break would help things along a bit...

Certainly the way the reds are in the opening frame, it's conceivable that there'll be one.

Alas, there won't be one in the opening frame.

Graeme Dott is looking the winner all over here. I'm struggling to get enthusiastic about the match to be honest.

Good break from Ebdon. 12-6. I think he needs to win at least 5 this afternoon to stand a chance.
