It's a week orientated for someone like Robert or Ray to go IMO - it will be the first week that will suit the females and the groups.
Final song choices confirmed:
Robert - Take a Chance On Me
Ray - Waterloo (absolutely should have gone to Ben)

Ben is still favourite to win it with the bookies,followed by Leona and then Eton Road.McDonalds are favourites to go tonight.

Wasn't this Simon's week for first picks? I didn't know it worked like that. It seems a bit unfair, as Simon has the same number of acts as Louis and Sharon put together. Chris, the McD's may be favourite to go tonight, but they have never been in the bottom 2, whereas Ashley and Robert both have. Plus, one of the other Scottish acts is now out of the competition - they could get a greater proportion of the Scottish vote. Don't get me wrong, I think they should be favourites to go, and they should have gone by now, but they have surpassed many peoples' expectations |

Here's a question - who do you think will be future guest stars on the show, and what theme will it be for that week? I have taken my predictions striaght from the album release schedule, as no one has yet done it or will do it without a bit of free publicity.
11th Nov
George Michael probably. Depeche Mode, Sugababes, Boney M and All Saints all plausible
18th Nov
The Beatles or U2. Oasis, the Corrs or Westlife are possibles.
25th Nov
Barry Manilow has been previously rumoured. Take That could do it also
Nothing much out from December, I reckon they will drop the themes by then

December will almost certainly have a Christmas songs week as they had that in both Pop Idols

They had Christmas songs in the final last year, and could do the same this year. Is it too obvious for Leona to sing that godawful Mariah Carey song in a Christmas theme, or Ben to sing Fairytale of New York?

Nikita - thought this was really bad this week tbh  Eton Road - I really liked them, did think it was highly camp but really good. Robert - I thought he did well this week, wasnt too hyper this time, i enjoyed it Leona - Really good, as always  MacDonalds - (how hot is the dark haired one?) thought they were ok, wasnt the best, but not the worst. Ray - very swinging.........think he has pulled it off yet another week  thought he did well but too much swinging Ben - i like it  Ashley - absolutely bloody awful, really dont like it |

i am soooooooo glad that louis picked ashley to go, i really liked him to start with cos he was different, but the last 2 weeks just showed he was an arrogant pr**k an didnt really give a sh*t. robert absolutely deserved it over him this week and thank god louis realised this, altho nikita shouldve been in the bottom 2 |

I think Ray is absolutely awful, his voice is woeful and his performances so predictable. He was one of the worst last night!

I don't know why The McDonlads get such a hard time.Ok they ARE crap,but they still sound better than Ray - does he only get away with it because he's 'cute' ??
Out of the bottom two last night,louis was right to get rid of Ashley.I didn't like him or Robert but in their last performances Robert was better than Ashley (and that was down to the songs they were given - if they had swapped songs,it would have been Robert going home).
The only act I like in the competition is Eton Road (now that kerry is gone).
Oh and didn't Ashley say something on stage( to Simon) about how Louis only got rid of him because he was the stronger one (as in better than Robert)? lol That was a bit insulting to Robert.I wouldn't say one of them was a better singer than the other.Evenly matched imo.

They should have gone long ago (first week)
I agree that Ashley should have gone over Robert, but Nikita and the McDonald Bros should have been the bottom 2
