Some people are just amazingly lazy when it comes to listening to music All I ever seem to see from you is criticism of others taste. I never see anything you like, or are you still searching for it?

Dandy - m is always right, the rest of us are wrong, simple as that;) If people dont like Kid A or cant get into it, fair enough, they tried, they are not lazy, they just dont like it, end of, same way that lots of people think the Killers album is great, but you think it is dirge. We all have diff tastes, be boring if we all liked the same... *Awaits patronising comments* Oh and a trip to Constructive Criticism School might be an idea...

Shocked! Great Album!

OK Computer is my favourite album of all time. Kid A did take me a couple of years to get into properly but when it finally came together for me - it was like discovering a new dimension. It's astonishingly beautiful piece of work.
Amnesiac is great too and Hail to the Thief has excellent tracks too but overall leaves me a bit cold.
My top 10:
1. Fake Plastic Trees 2. Pyramid Song 3. Motion Picture Soundtrack 4. No Surprises 5. National Anthem 6. I Might Be Wrong 7. Let Down 8. Where I end and you Begin 9. 2+2+5 10. Paranoid Android

I'd buy OK Computer judging from the comments people have made about it, but I just can't help thinking that I'd seriously consider hanging myself after listening to it.

I'd buy OK Computer judging from the comments people have made about it, but I just can't help thinking that I'd seriously consider hanging myself after listening to it. The "Radiohead are depressing" thing is the biggest cliche in modern music... it's simply not true... you need only listen to one of their albums to know this! Coldplay, Travis, Embrace, Keane etc... now that's depressing and to the people saying Pablo Honey is their best album? What the hell have you been eating? ... how can a bunch of guys trying to rip off Nirvana and MOR American grunge rock sound better than The Bends or Kid A or even OK Computer?! ... the majority of it is pretty bad, and there are bands that try to sound like Nirvana so much better... thank god they came into their own on The Bends

Is it me or is a couple of years a devil of a long time to get into an album? no... it doesn't mean you need to listen to it every day for 2 years to understand it at all... it just reveals itself slowly! There are plenty of slow burn albums... they are usually the best...
