(actually i think "creep" has been massively overrated and overplayed... not even the best song on PH) ok... no way in hellfire is pablo honey their best album, but it's not as bad as everyone says it is. yes, it's rip-offy and cheap in places, but there are some genuinely good songs... "stop whispering", "thinking about you", "anyone can play guitar"... (we'll leave out "lurgee" as i have no idea why i love it so much; call it a guilty pleasure ). originality doesn't always define why i like something. i like what i like, just because i do, not because they did it first or whatever. everyone, as andy says, has different taste and is entitled to their opinion, just as i am entitled to not being able to understand it. there was a time, too, when i thought post-bends radiohead were depressing, and that "pyramid song" was a load of moany drivel. now it's my second favourite song of all time. "the bends" is still my favourite album by them, but "kid a" is a work of art... anyway, radiohead are what you make of them, but to be blunt, i don't think anyone who just calls them depressing has really given them a chance... oh, and just to be geeky, and because homesy did it first, my top 10 radiohead songs (quite random ones, and they change a lot, but there you go): 1. pyramid song 2. sit down, stand up 3. black star 4. paranoid android 5. i might be wrong 6. idioteque 7. true love waits 8. 2+2=5 9. everything in its right place 10. high and dry i've had "kid a" for 18 months now and i'm only JUST starting to "get" the national anthem...

I'm considering purchasing The Bends from my local Woolies. Only thing is, it's £15.99. Would it be worth it?

Thanks, but I haven't got my debit card on file on that, and I'm not sure how to do it.

The Bends is great but not at that price.
I haven't seen it in a shop for more than £10 in ages.

;D ;D ;D YAY!
look out for "black star", "just" and the spectacularly chilling "street spirit (fade out)" on the second half...
