Hah, good one!
Latest reports say that The Ego will be out for 3 months with this injury, so even if he stays at Man U, he'll be missing for their games at Liverpool and Chelsea, nice one.

He's only saying the injury will take that long, you can bet if he was sold tomorrow, he'd be playing in 6 weeks over there!

As a Man utd fan i reckon its time to get rid the lad did fantastic things last season for utd and should be remembered for that but the way hes going about leaving old trafford is a total disgrace showing no respect to man utd at all.I would take £70 million and let him go let him have his wish .on the subject of contracts why bother players obviously have no loyalty to them and feel can jump ship whenever the feel like it.I'm afraid ronaldo will find out when Madrid no longer him he will be treated like sh*t ,but then again he feels he can waltz back to man utd afraid not!!.

But why would he? Football is a job and unless you're playing football for the club you've always supported I don't really see why so much loyalty is expected. It's like any other job, a company may stick by you but if you get the chance to move to another compnay who are paying you a lot more and is located in a far nicer place of the world after you've achieved about everything theres is to achieve in your current job why would you stay?! I've heard that example used in the past and although i can see the point football isn't really like any other job with the money involved. Plus in most jobs you don't get a long term contract like you do in football. The two reasons (money and contract) why Pele thought that Blatter's comments about slavery were complete rubbish. Even if it was true, going public to try and engineer a move on your own terms isn't the way to go about it, as andy alluded to before. Ronaldo used to be my favourite player but he's gone down massively in my estimation after this whole saga.. Know a Man U fan who was only saying this morning that he wants him to go, but with the Real Madrid players not wanting him he said it leaves the club in limbo.

the best player in the world, real madrid players dont want him, the real madrid fans dont want him and a load of man u fans think he should go. he really has dug a whole for himself, on top of that he has set himself up for a fall on the pitch with having an unmatchable season last year and the injury on top of that he will struggle for his standards

Pele spoke a lot of sense, Blatter talked out his arse again.
