Do you write things on the back of your hand to remind you to do something? i used to. but nowadays i carry a notebook with me and if i've got a busy day i usually write a 'to do' list in there

lol! ok, i'd chuck 33 then Shame really,if you'd chucked 3 instead you would have won a tenner with those numbers last night ! 27 , 33 & 39 were drawn..and would you believe it I actually won £10 with my numbers (28 , 33 & 39) ooh, well done! don't knock a tenner, i'm a student - every penny counts i didn't play in the end anyway, so perhaps it's just as well i chucked the wrong number! i can't speak for all women, of course. but i think it goes back to the days when we were attracted to mates who we thought were capable of looking after us and our children - i.e, the big strong ones! being able to look up at them makes us feel safe and cared for also why many women like muscly men, too. i tend to prefer thinner men. but as i'm only 5'2.5" the height has never been a problem! ;D

Are you afraid of anything ?

Are you afraid of anything ? yes. spiders are my worst one - if they're larger than about my thumbnail, the sight of them makes me feel physically sick i don't like scorpions, either - but that's a rational fear because most of them sting! i also don't like deep water (especially in swimming pools; oddly it doesn't bother me in the sea because i can't see the bottom!), being in a high place if there's no barrier to stop me falling... and people dressed in giant mascot costumes (like football mascots) creep me out as well.

So would you go dressed up as a larger than life character if you were invited to a fancy dress event ?

So would you go dressed up as a larger than life character if you were invited to a fancy dress event ? probably not i've gone as a cat a few times, but that's about as far as i'll go! i did go to a school event as the death of rats from terry pratchett's discworld novels once. that was fun i had a scythe and everything!

no, sadly. just an old curtain rail pole with a bit of foil-covered cardboard taped to the end of it well we came third in a pub quiz a few weeks ago and won a box of chocolates! other than that, i don't really enter competitions...

Did you keep the scythe as a momento and as for the chocaltes, leave the nutty ones til last ? i do still have the scythe somewhere. and i didn't get to leave any of the chocolates as i was in a team with a load of greedy boys so they ate them all ooh, is this an essay question? i'm quite a kind person - i hate people being unhappy, and i always go out of my way to make sure that doesn't happen. i do my best to avoid hurting people, regardless of whether or not i care about them, and if i care about someone enough, i'll bend over backwards to make sure they're happy. right from the off, i see the best in people. it takes quite a lot to make a bad impression on me. i am very tolerant, patient and forgiving, and find it immensely difficult to bear grudges. many people who have met my mother will be able to appreciate why i have had to learn to be patient while i am modest, i also think i'm reasonably intelligent and while there's no topic i know exhaustively in a mastermind sort of way, i do have a pretty good general knowledge base. i'd like to think that if i was motivated enough to learn a new skill, no matter what, i'd at least be able to have a reasonable crack at it ;D

Name 5 items in your bag that you carry around on a daily basis that you really don't need to: 1. camera - i don't use it that often, but am always afraid i'll want to if i don't have it with me! 2. various receipts i haven't got around to filing yet 3. my railcard 4. nail polish - i have developed a habit of painting my nails on the bus 5. there's a key in my bag that's been in there for so long i'm not sure what it unlocks any more

Do you swear much?
|
|
|
Post by greendemon on Jul 19, 2009 22:25:19 GMT 1
generally, no, but it depends who i'm talking to. if i'm talking to someone who swears a lot, a few four-letter words will creep in. i don't swear around family members, teachers or people who i don't know very well. or around children ;D
