All makes for nice reading Had a feeling i may be top for the month too but never expected it to be by that much! I'm like Reading, an inconsistent season but with great weeks and a late surge making you wonder what might have been

RESULTS: APRIL 3rd 1. Tom 352 2. paddy 264 3. Frag 242 4. Earl Purple 231 5. Robin 176 6. misterhamster 165 7. Andy 154
Three people went for no draws at all, whereas Tom predicted six. There were five draws in all, four of which were picked by Tom, which is why he wins for the second week running!
2009/10 TOP THREE (5 weeks left) 1 [1] Robin 9639 9815 2 [2] Earl Purple 9562 9793 (22 pts back) 3 [3] Frag 9507 9749 (66 pts back)
The top three draw even closer, with just 22 points separating Robin from Earl Purple!

Wow Expected a high scoring week this week so wasn't sure if i would win. I always think if i correctly predict draws in my lowest 2 predictions its rather fortunate. Its generally because i don't have much of a clue that i pick draws there!

I hope I'm wrong about Charlton though, just the normal rule of betting against your own team.

H10 Hull City v Burnley H9 West Ham United v Sunderland D2 Barnsley v Derby County H8 Cardiff City v Reading - see comments below D4 Crystal Palace v Queens Park Rangers H7 Newcastle United v Blackpool A6 Peterborough United v Leicester City D3 Watford v Plymouth Argyle D5 Southampton v Charlton Athletic D1 Darlington v Accrington Stanley We would prob have lost at Cardiff anyway but with Mills red card from the Ipswich game last Sat being upheld a couple of days ago (it should never have been a red in the first place, though apparently he could have been sent off on Mon) i def can't see it now. His 4 match ban has effectively ended our slim playoff hopes too (not that i really expected us to make them anyway), can't see us getting what we would need without him on Tues for the Newcastle home game either. That Ipswich game with the defeat that followed the red card really is looking the pivotal game of our late push for the playoffs, it was the 2nd week running i started to think of the possibilities a win might do... Anyway ill stop rambling now Oh forgot to mention, score prediction 3-1 Cardiff.

RESULTS: APRIL 10th1. Andy 264 2=. Frag 253 2=. Robin 253 4. misterhamster 231 5. Tom 220 6. Earl Purple 209 Very tight indeed this week, with only 55 pts between first and last, despite a wide variation in predictions ( mrh only going for one draw, Tom trying to win the pools again). In the end, Andy comes out on top. 2009/10 TOP THREE (4 weeks left)1 [1] Robin 9815 10068 2= [2] Earl Purple 9793 10002 (66 pts back) 2= [3] Frag 9749 10002 (66 pts back) All three pass the magical 10000 mark, but Earl Purple drops back by 44 points, with Frag drawing level. Robin is now 66 points ahead, having got the same score as Frag this week. There, I've namechecked everyone who predicted this week! APRIL/MAY TABLE (2/6)1 [1] Tom 572 2 [3] Frag 495 3 [4] Earl Purple 440 4 [5] Robin 429 5 [7] Andy 418 6 [6] misterhamster 396 7 [2] paddy 264 Despite coming 6th this week, Tom remains at the top, and with a healthy lead, too. This week's statsAverage score: 238.33 Easiest to predict: Newcastle 4-1 Blackpool: 530 pts (6/6 correct) Hardest to predict: Cardiff 0-0 Reading: -48 pts (0/6 correct)
