I wanted Blake to win.
A couple of golds for GB today. Not really into dressage. Don't mind the show-jumping though.

I have been blown away by dozens of medal winners in this olympics in numerous events but for me bolt has been disappointing, he was always going to win both the 100m and 200m and for the hype it was pretty underwhelming, we need a bomb scare quickly in the mens hockey

So I decided it was time I visited an Olympic venue today and went to Weymouth as it's not too far away. I was expecting to get a distant view of the sailing even if I wouldn't have had much of a clue what was going on. Sadly, the weather had other ideas and it was called off due to the total lack of wind

Yeah I saw that today. There's actually a downside to lovely weather after all.

Think that's the first gold for Wales! First individual gold, though Geraint Thomas was in the team pursuit.

Is anyone going to get a facebookthing going to have "Heroes" pushed to no. 1? A charity release in aid of Sport Relief or something? The charts are never made worse with a touch of Bowie. Even, these days, through "The Laughing Gnome"...

I think 6 more golds is a bit of a stretch. I have the number 3 in mind. Haha, my predicted target was met in only a matter of hours

=====================================
Day 13 saw GB add three gold medals to the count, taking the total to 25, and there will be at least two more medals on Day 14.
The men's 470 pair of Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell were meant to have their medal race on Thursday but a lack of wind meant the day's sailing programme was postponed. They go into the medal race four points behind leaders Australia, meaning they will win gold if they can finish two places ahead of the Australian boat. The women's 470 pair are in a similar position. Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark go into their medal race knowing they will win gold if they finish ahead of the New Zealand boat with whom they are level on points.
It's a been a bit of a barren time for GB in the Olympic Stadium since the weekend but things could pick up on Day 14. Lisa Dobriskey has been running better than she has done for years in the 1500m and looks to be a genuine contender going into the final. The USA will be the team to beat in the men's 4x400m relay but GB looked very good in qualifying and could get a medal if the team can go under three minutes. One high point of the athletics programme for GB is the number of athletes reaching field event finals and there are two more in the form of pole vaulter Steve Lewis and hammer thrower Sophie Hitchon, who broke the British record to qualify for the final.
Shanaze Reade crashed out in spectacular fashion in Beijing when she was favourite for BMX gold. She isn't as strongly fancied this time and with less pressure and the home crowd cheering her on, she could snatch a medal. Liam Phillips managed to avoid the carnage to reach the men's semi-finals.
GB won its first ever Olympic taekwondo gold on Day 13, with victory for Jade Jones. Day 14 sees Beijing bronze medallist and two-time world champion Sarah Stevenson going for gold, along with arguably the most controversial selection in the whole GB squad - Lutalo Muhammad. He was chosen in the 80kg weight category, despite Aaron Cook being ranked number one in the world.
There could be a first British hockey medal for 20 years when GB's women face New Zealand for bronze.
INFOSTRADA SPORTS' VIRTUAL MEDAL TABLE PREDICTION:
Gold: 1 - women's 470
Silver: 3 - Hannah England (eliminated), men's 4x400m relay, Sarah Stevenson
Bronze: 1 - women's hockey
