Miracle is an abomination. The tendency to be lazy with the lyrics is very shoddy - "get out, get out, get get get out"; "never never never ever never ever ever say die" and the truly cringey "deliver-iver-iverance" all on the same album? :roll: It's a good thing the music saves the songs. Get Out even has a second chorus that TV stations use all the time, the main chorus is never used. If they'd used the second one as the main (and bothered to make a real video for it) it might have been a bigger song. Forever is the best song and is a future #1 on my chart if it's a single.

Curious one for credits! So Netflix released the film Sierra Burgess Is A Loser. The official soundtrack includes the short piano-based film version alongside the longer synth reprise version by Allie X (one of the song's co-writers along with Troye Sivan, screenplay writer Lindsey Beer and score helmers Leland and Bram Inscore). Netflix then uploaded a YouTube video featuring Purser's vocal on the Allie X backing track - not available on any other platform. This video constitutes my reasoning for charting the song as a promoted "single" but it's meant i've had to include both the other versions under one entry as they can't be separated.  :lol: (it'll shrink to 2 version links from next week). Many people have bought the short Purser album version because they identify with her emotion based on the film but it's certainly not a completely satisfying track and Allie's closing credits version is. The Purser synth version is a good compromise and it's bizarre that's it's not officially released. Allie X deserves more praise as the co-writer. And it's frankly false advertising to call a version that's double the length a "reprise".
