Must say it was great watching Jimmy White back playing on TV in a "big" tournament.

I was there today for the morning session. Had a really nice time although the Ding v Walden match was very slow. Ding was on 48 at one point and started to get excited but then he went up for the blue. He still ended up with a 135 break which was the highlight.

Good stuff, Elmer. How much did you pay?
I saw Ronnie's game this evening. He did what he had to do. Milkins was awful. The draw's worked out well for Ronnie thanks to him being seeded 2 for the tournament as world champion.
Quarter-finals: Mark Selby v Barry Hawkins Mark Allen v Ricky Walden Neil Robertson v Stephen Maguire Stuart Bingham v Ronnie O'Sullivan
Amazing how from a 128-man field, the lowest ranked player in the quarter-finals is #13. The cream's definitely risen to the top this week.

It was £15.00 plus £1.50. It actually looks like I could've stayed for the afternoon as it said 'Daytime ticket' on my stub. It's easy to watch both tables so I caught the first three frames of Selby and Dott too.
Selby looked a class act !

A bit of a surprise but Milkins was absolutely awful last night - Ronnie could've beaten him with one hand. Bingham was a huge step up in quality and has emerged as a genuinely world class player. Didn't see the match as I was at work but two centuries suggests Ronnie wasn't playing badly.

I say this because between 9.30 and 12.30 I think I was sat pretty much next to you. .. Was sat directly behind Dings seat about 6 rows back. There was an old duffer on the aisle seat about three away from me. I was close to the bottom of the steps from the upper balcony.

I had a light red sweatshirt on. It's a shame I didn't know it was you. Could've said hello. You'd have seen I'm not a bad lad after all ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/Kwn0BjsNURZTBPjgpQCU.gif) Do you remember the old guy at Binghams table trying to open a bag of crisps. The harder he tried to open them quietly the louder it got. He then got a tap on the shoulder.
