With Groups B, E, and F (and now A) all having drawn games, any team that manages 2 wins in the group stage is guaranteed a place in the last 16. France have become the first team through after their second win.

Albania didn't deserve that result - they are probably out now

I'm a patriot of my country (Russia), but our football fans are awful (especially Spartak and Zenit fans) and very agressive.
Good luck for Wales, England and Slovakia. Obviously Russia is the worst team of Euro 2016, unfortunately we stole a foreign place.

Unfortunately, Russia isn't the only team who has suffered with criminals turning up in France with the sole aim of injuring people and causing damage. Football is simply the banner these people hide behind. They have no place in modern society - Russian, British or French - and should be treated very harshly by the justice system.

Is it here (in France) any accidents with Turkish fans or they are only agressive at home ?

Totally deserved for England, the Welsh offered nothing but a free kick Joe Hart should have saved, game on!!!

Totally deserved for England, the Welsh offered nothing but a free kick Joe Hart should have saved, game on!!! Yes, dominant for 90 minutes, even in the first half. Hodgson made the right changes at the right time. Hopefully Sterling gets nowhere near the starting XI for the rest of the tournament. Great result for NI - huge improvement from the Poland game. Still a big ask to qualify with Germany still to come but they've given themselves a chance.

Still to finish watching England-Wales but know the result (there were goal updates given out at work) but brilliant win for Northern Ireland! Had to laugh, Norwood was so bad first half, never seen him play so poorly, that I thought he'll probably go and score the winning goal now or something and I wasn't a million miles away! Got the assist for the first goal and was like a completely different player after that, as good after they took the lead as he was bad beforehand. I'll admit i'm a massive fan of his, but I've thought all along that if Northern Ireland get out of the group he'll leave Reading. He's too good for the Championship when he's on his game and he's an important player for them.

Late goals really do seem the theme so far this tournament.
Ukraine's defeat to Northern Ireland plus Germany's draw with Poland mean that Ukraine are the first team to be eliminated (even if they beat Poland and NI lose to Germany, NI will be ahead on the head-to-head tie-break).
Random fact: NI manager Michael O'Neill has Martin as one of his middle names, and RoI manager Martin O'Neill (seemingly unrelated) has Michael as one of his middle names. The two teams are organised by the Irish Football Association and the Football Association of Ireland respectively.

Most of the British teams are probably heading for the final 16, Rep. Ireland is still debatable though. Really pleased England pulled their socks up, I like to see Sturridge and Vardy in the starting lineup for the rest of the tournament they both gelled well together. And don't let Sterling and Rooney near a ball again. Rooney is just THERE.
And the German match was awful, I gave up after the first half, when I saw the final score, I figured out the second half was nothing much of an improvement, they just didn't look like world champions.

Not really a stand out team for me yet - other than Hungary who look great!

So Croatia set for a suspended disqualification next then? Flares on the pitch and fighting in the stands?

looks like it, to think Ukraine/Poland 4 on the border of Russia and in eastern Europe went off without a hitch and in France there has been more trouble a week than in all major tournaments put together since he 80s, the policing and security have a lot to answer for, they just stand watching half the time
Imagine if ISIS were targeting these stadiums, the amount of flares, fire crackers and well less powerful explosives keep sneaking in, in their dozens!

I assume maybe they have metal detectors, so flares can get in? Who knows, I did like the bit where the French riot police were just stood watching them fight, err, you going to do anything to eject the troublemakers? No, okay then.

Apparently England's win over Wales was the first time that England have won a match in a major tournament having been trailing at half time.
Today's wins for Italy and Spain mean that they are both through to the last 16. Croatia would have joined them if they hadn't somehow managed to blow a 2-goal lead (and indeed come close to losing) against the Czech Republic (who did not manage a single shot in the first half).

Flares are normal in French football. A few years ago, I saw PSG play a 4th division side in the early rounds of the French Cup. The PSG ultras were lighting flares throughout the game, and no-one seemed to care - it was clearly normal behaviour. Perhaps that is why they aren't removed on entry to the stadia, and the security inside the grounds doesn't take their use too seriously.

Yes it's "normal" but still forbidden and it shouldn't be here. But ultras have friends in the security so they don't remove them. A guy lost an eye last year because of that...

Still a big ask to qualify with Germany still to come but they've given themselves a chance. It was interesting that Hodgson seemed to imply in both the BBC and ITV interviews afterwards that we were unlucky against Russia but lucky against Wales, which is what I thought too (that may be the Welsh side of me coming out, I did feel rather neutral for this game I must admit). The first 2 games have evened things out in the group, England deserve 4 points and Wales maybe should be on 2 tho I thought they were only slightly fortunate to beat Slovakia so relating that to points I think 3pts for them is about right. England should finish top from here and whilst I think this result will have a knock on effect for Wales I think they'll do enough to get something against Russia and finish 2nd.
As an aside, I thought Robson-Kanu played quite well, he looked understandably disappointed to be subbed.
