Are we staying in the future or back to the present though? Probably 10 years later or something, to me Judith Grimes looks like a 12 year old girl at the end, apparently yesterday was also Maggie's last appearance. Me thinking the producers have set a reset button with a new set of brand new characters, with the enemy The Whisperers and just a few of the old cast returning.

That cant be Maggie's last ep. it will get explained more I reckon, I think she will head off with Olivia? Looking at the next week clip, carol has two lots of hair, so we are carrying on the future storyline (Whisperers) and also staying in the present. Seems an intriguing way to go with the storyline, because surely some people will be missing from the future, and if not, you know they wont die in the present.

I'm back on board with the show now NO idea where this is going anymore though - at least it isn't predictable!

Okay so the bad guys are wearing walker masks to go undetected? So there's a double threat now - aka talking zombies and Negan's old crew?

Negan's old crew were wiped out by Carole, it's just the whisperers now.

If you're going to kill a character, dont focus on him in a previous episode, therefore making it obvious that Jesus or aaron were going to die, it just takes the sting out of it. I really liked Jesus as well, but it was all just SO obvious! As for the fake cemetery and smoke/mist, it felt like we were in Thriller from the 80s! Had they run out of money by the mid season point?

Shame Jesus is out as well. Although it was so daft that he didn't just leave with the others. Could have easily left and closed the gate behind them.

To be honest the loss of Jesus does nothing for me, I just wish that Priest get killed off next, I don't know how many times he nearly came a cropper, he seems to have none lives or something.

This seems to be the best series for a long time, that chilling ending to last night's episode was a bit horrific, looking forward too the finale.

Humm, I'm in the camp of fed up with it, yes great shocking ending, but no real big names went did they, because there are so few left! And of course it never actually got explained how they were taken from inside the cinema to the woods and their death. Out through locked and guarded gates?

Not that fussed any more, no doubt I'll record and watch, but I may be losing Fox soon anyway, so will no longer see the seasons anyway...

I think the last season we saw was season 8, though the last good season was the one before Negan showed up. It's been pretty boring for a while.
We switched to Fear the Walking Dead which was great fun and then also rapidly went down the toilet.

So the Whisperers could just have come into Alexandria through a "tunnel" at any time, but only choose to do it now to get Gamma back? It's just silly, and Dante built the tunnel, what? While he was doctoring, or collecting info, he was also disappearing into a hole that nobody found or wondered where he was. And I'm sorry but after Judith shot Beta, she'd have put another bullet in his head, one because she's kick ass and two because you dont want them to reanimate. I get that it's upping the ante for a big showdown, but sometimes the story is just rubbish, why were there still two people in the cave when it collapsed, what were they doing? Collecting soil samples for their collections, they wouldn't be there apart from the storyline of Carol getting it wrong again. I'll persist to the end of this season, but that may well be that.

I'm still watching it too, mainly out of habit. I do like the Whisperers - in fact I follow it more for them than the boring good guys. Too many people I couldn't care less about... Gabriel, Ezekiel, Eugene... even Carol is becoming a bore. But like I said, the Whisperers were a good addition. Apparently the series has no intention of stopping any time soon. Three films are planned as well with Rick Grimes.
