Huddersfield did win at Wolves but Port Vale have a stay of execution by winning at Walsall. Port Vale's last game is away at Fleetwood so certainly a challenge to stay up. If they do win though Gillingham are away at Northampton and will need to win, and Bury are away at Southend but their goal difference is superior so they will only need a draw. A draw for Port Vale won't be enough unless Gillingham lose by 6 goals. Good to hear that Port Vale have got such a tough final game. Must admit I was a bit worried about Gillingham, away to their last manager (Justin Edinburgh at Northampton) don't think I see them winning that but it doesn't look they will need to.

Fri 28 - Sun 30 April
Premier League Sunderland will be relegated if they lose and either Hull avoid defeat or Swansea (Sun) win.
Championship Brighton will be champions on Friday if Newcastle lose, or on Saturday if Brighton at least match Newcastle's result. Reading, Sheff Wed & Fulham can complete the play-off line-up this weekend. Reading will be there unless they lose, Leeds win, and either Fulham win or Sheff Wed avoid defeat; Sheff Wed will make it unless they don't win and Leeds do; Fulham will make it if they better Leeds' result. Blackburn will be relegated if their result is worse than Nottm Forest's, and Birmingham win.
League One - Final Day Bolton v Peterborough Bristol Rovers v Millwall Fleetwood v Port Vale Northampton v Gillingham Rochdale v Bradford Southend v Bury
Bolton, 2 points and 8 goals ahead of Fleetwood, will go up unless they lose and Fleetwood win (or I guess a huge 8-0 win is possible, if Bolton draw). For the play-offs, it's 1 from 3: Millwall are 1 point ahead of Southend and 2 ahead of Rochdale, but have a worse goal difference than both. Relegation, also 1 from 3 to join Swindon, Coventry and Chesterfield: Port Vale need to win (or draw + hope for a big Gillingham defeat) to have any chance. Gillingham are 1 point and 5 goals ahead, Bury 2 points and 14 goals ahead.
League Two Luton will be in the play-offs unless they lose and 3 of: Blackpool don't lose, Stevenage/Mansfield/Wycombe/Carlisle win. Exeter will make it if they win and 3 of those things don't happen. Blackpool and Stevenage can also confirm play-off places, or drop down to 10th... Hartlepool will be relegated and make Jeff Stelling even crosser if they don't win and Newport do.
English Non-League and Scottish League to come later...

I think the 1st leg of the Scottish playoff to get in the league is this weekend, highland v lowland = Buckie Thistle v East Kilbride. East Kilbride currently play on a training ground, ie 3g pitch, which has a capacity of just 600... Six hundred is more than enough for the lower levels of the Scottish league

National League - Final DayLincoln promoted; Tranmere, Forest Green, Dag & Red + 1 in the play-offs; Southport, North Ferriby + 2 from 6 relegated. Aldershot v BraintreeBarrow v Dover Chester v Boreham Wood Dag & Red v WokingGuiseley v Solihull Moors Torquay v North Ferriby York v Forest Green Play-offs: Aldershot will be there unless they lose, Dover win, and there's a 6-goal swing. Relegation: - To stay up, Braintree must win and hope that two of: York don't win, Guiseley lose, Torquay lose
- To stay up, York must: draw & Guiseley lose; or win and 1 of: Guiseley don't win, Torquay don't win, Woking lose, Chester lose (+9-goal swing)
- Guiseley will go down if they lose and either York avoid defeat or Braintree win; or if they draw and 2 of: Torquay avoid defeat, York win, Braintree win (+6-goal swing)
- Torquay are down if they lose and 2 of: Guiseley don't lose, York win (or draw + 6-goal swing), Braintree win; or if they draw and Guiseley and York both win
- Chester & Woking are both a point from safety, but can go down if they lose and Torquay, Guiseley and York all win.
National League North - Final DayNB: Darlington lost their appeal Play-offs: Salford & Chorley are in pole position to take the last two places; if either of them lose, then Stockport can leap-frog them with a win (Chorley are 2 pts ahead, so would also miss out if they draw and Stockport win by 3 or 4 goals. Relegation: Worcester will fill the last relegation spot unless they get a better result than Gainsborough. National League South - Final DayNB: Poole and Hungerford lost their appeals Maidenhead will be promoted if they win at relegated Margate. If they don't win, then Ebbsfleet will go up if they win at home to mid-table Oxford City Hampton & Richmond will be in the play-offs unless they don't win and Wealdstone do.

SCOTLAND
League One With two games left, 4 teams are level on 46 points, with 2 play-off places to fight for! Stenhousemuir will be relegated if they don't win and Peterhead do.
League Two Forfar will be promoted if they win and Arbroath lose. Annan will be in the play-offs if they beat 4th-placed Montrose. Montrose can also confirm their play-off place with a win, if Elgin lose. Cowdenbeath will enter the relegation play-off if they lose and Clyde v Berwick is a draw.

I hope Stockport make the play offs, be nice to see them back in the Conference, where they should be. I'd prefer Port Vale relegated, quite local and likely to bring good away support. Mansfield can still make the playoffs, but I don't see it myself, Portsmouth at home this weekend is very tough, win that and maybe, just maybe... I'll be there with my brother for my birthday!

Perhaps we should be stating also when teams become safe from relegation. (And when teams can no longer reach the play-offs?)

I'm happy for you to report these things, but have limited time to figure out the potential-safeness status of ~200 clubs I know that with 2 games left, there still exists a team who can either be promoted or relegated (or neither, obviously).

In the Championship, these teams will definitely still be there next season as they can't reach the playoffs or be relegated:
Norwich Brentford Derby Preston Aston Villa Cardiff Barnsley Wolves Ipswich
So Norwich are 11 points ahead of Ipswich but they're both in the same boat with regards to promotion/relegation both being out of the question.
League One has only 1 game remaining.
Definitely stuck in the same division next season are:
Oxford United, Bristol Rovers, Peterborough, MK Dons, Walsall, Charlton, AFC Wimbledon, Northampton and Oldham (some things never change...). Realistically Shrewsbury too as Port Vale have to make up a 10 goal deficit.
League Two: Still 2 games remaining. Barnet, Notts County, Crewe, Morecambe and Crawley will definitely still be in League 2 next season.

I know that with 2 games left, there still exists a team who can either be promoted or relegated (or neither, obviously). I think both Stranraer and Albion Rovers can still finish in their promotion and relegation play-offs. It is quite likely that every one of the Scottish League One matches on the last day of the season will matter.

As they said on BBC Kent that draw has basically ended Dover's playoff chances though. That game on Tuesday was must-win. IIRC they have a clearly weaker goal difference than Aldershot and are 3 points behind. So barring a crazy swing in results they're going to miss out.
Edit - as you've basically said in your preview, sorry!

Bolton beat Peterborough 3-0 so went up regardless of what happened elsewhere.
Port Vale could only draw and went down. At least that win at Walsall meant we got to finish above the Saddlers.
Unfortunately Bristol Rovers bottled it in the last few minutes after coming back nicely from 1-3 behind to get level at 3-3. That means Millwall are in the playoffs with Scunthorpe (3rd), Fleetwood (4th, after only drawing with Port Vale) and Bradford City (5th)

Ok Gillingham only drew and Bury lost but are both safe because Port Vale could not win.
Southend can no longer get promoted even though they beat Bury 1-0 and Rochdale had an outside chance but only drew 1-1 with Bradford and the other results went against them anyway.

Fri 28 - Sun 30 AprilPremier LeagueSunderland will be relegated if they lose and either Hull avoid defeat or Swansea (Sun) win. Sunderland are relegated, after a late goal from King - annoyingly, as I thought of putting him in my FPL team but didn't in the end Brighton lost again, but are still a point clear going into the final week. Reading & Sheff Wed are both definitely in the play-offs, and Fulham are there barring a mathematical miracle. Blackburn won, and are now only 1 goal on goal difference from safety. That one's going to the wire... As reported by Earl Purple, Bolton are promoted, meaning Fleetwood must settle for the play-offs (and slipped to 4th). They play Bradford, while Millwall scored an 85th minute winner to set up a tie with 3rd-placed Scunthorpe. Port Vale drew, but it wasn't enough to save them from the drop. The play-offs take place on Thursday (both first legs) and Sunday (both second legs). Luton and Exeter have made the play-offs, but Blackpool and Stevenage now straddle the dotted line, after dropping points and being leapfrogged by Carlisle. With one game to go, 12th-placed Mansfield are still in with a mathematical chance of promotion. Hartlepool live to fight another day, despite yet another defeat. They must beat 2nd placed Doncaster next weekend to survive.

Aldershot won to seal their play-off tie with Tranmere. Lincoln finish on 99 points after another draw. York and Braintree have been relegated. York go down for the second season running, and face regional football for the first time since 1958 (and even that was at level 3, not level 6). Braintree crash down after losing in the play-offs last year. Stockport could only draw, meaning that Salford and Chorley complete the play-off picture. Worcester are relegated after defeat at promoted Fylde. Maidenhead are promoted! Ebbsfleet settle for the play-offs despite amassing 96 points. They will play 7th-placed Hampton & Richmond, who won to seal their place. Play-off scheduleWednesday NL: Aldershot v Tranmere NL North: Chorley v Kidderminster, Salford v Halifax NL South: Chelmsford v Dartford, Hampton & Richmond v Ebbsfleet Thursday League One: Bradford v Fleetwood, Millwall v Scunthorpe NL: Dag & Red v Forest Green Saturday NL: Tranmere v Aldershot Sunday League One: Fleetwood v Bradford, Scunthorpe v Millwall NL: Forest Green v Dag & Red NL North: Halifax v Salford, Kidderminster v Chorley NL South: Dartford v Chelmsford, Ebbsfleet v Hampton & Richmond
