Last 4 balls, Man City, Newcastle, Peterboro and the Stags, gosh I wonder how that ended up? Not that i'm saying it's fixed, but it is Sky and they do cream themselves over all Prem ties!

Oooh we did draw with you in the league cup in 1992, but were 2-1 down from the home leg, then there was the Shearer goal in the FA Cup in 2006. Be quite nice to get Man U as we have never ever played them as far as I know? Maybe Leicester at home for a localish sell out game? I know I'm going to be disappointed
You've drawn a home game again Peterborough. There were only three teams left in the draw when Newcastle came out. And when they started to say Man... I thought they were going to say Mansfield and we'd drawn against you! It turned out to be Manchester City...

Havertz needs to learn how to dive properly. If an opponent sticks out a leg, you don't jump over it then go down, you run into it then go down.

As for transfers, the amount of money being thrown around is obscene, but that's the Premier League...

It looks like Newcastle on TV but it's actually dark green.

Feared the worst for England against Scotland tonight (you know what England can be like in friendlies) but I thought they were very good. Other than the little wobble when Harry Maguire scored at the wrong end, England controlled the game and made Scotland's best team for 40 years look pretty ordinary.

Yeah we even scored their goal for them, but nice to see us coast to victory on their home turf, and like you say, their best side in ages apparently.

Not a penalty in the Newcastle game, but also their goal should not have been disallowed for a "foul" on the gk, so I guess it evens out. Bad refereeing/var imo though.

Gordon was clearly looking for it! I don’t understand why that was a penalty but the foul on Havertz’s last week was over ruled.

Inconsistency I guess? Thoroughly enjoyed the Leeds v Millwall game in the pub with Sam, the Everton v Arsenal not so much...

Sheffield United 0 Newcastle 8
Our joint biggest win in the Premier League. Back in 1999 we beat their city rivals Sheffield Wednesday by the same score.
8 goals and 8 different goalscorers, the latter of which which I believe is a Premier League record. Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 9-0 back in 1989, with 8 different goalscorers, which was back in the old First Division.

Stags through to the last 16 in the league cup for only the 2nd time in our history, last time was in 1975! I'd put Money on us getting Port Vale away next round with our luck!

Absolute joke, but no surprise really, how many all Prem ties and Exeter got Middlesbrough, what a surprise, not! Least we are at home Manage to beat Port Vale (revenge for Wembley play off loss two years ago) and we will get Exeter away (if they beat Middlesbrough)

How can VAR get it so wrong? Clearly onside, but they stay with the onfield decision of offsde, despite not having put the lines on (although it was clear from the naked eye he was onside!). It just needed one person in the VAR team to go hang on a minute, we've cocked up, but we can correct it now before they kick off! Absolute joke!

It just needed one person in the VAR team to go hang on a minute, we've cocked up, but we can correct it now before they kick off! Absolute joke! It was scandalous. The VAR thought the goal had actually been given [ source: ESPN], and so quickly said "check complete" when he saw it was clearly onside. They must have gotten a shock when the free kick was taken - even then, they could and should have stopped it!
