That Baby Love was a cover of a 1986 Regina hit from the USA that wasn't a hit here. "I Don't Wanna Take This Pain" is the only one of Dannii Minogue's 1991 singles to reach my chart, peaking at #27 right at the end of the year.

Her biggest hit in my chart was "All I Wanna Do", it would have been top 20. Her last decent sized hit was "I Begin to Wonder". I haven't charted here since 2003 but a few have made my playlists.

All I Wanna Do was her biggest hit in my chart too, but that was 1997

29 New Kids On The Block - Games
New Kids try and go street and it's not the worst thing they have done but credibility is something they are never going to get. Very very desperate. It reached #14 in the UK but didn't get a single release in the US.

28 Pat And Mick- Gimme Some
No me neither, why are they still even a thing, this could be the worst yet if it wasn't for the fact that I somehow managed to miss this one so my hatred levels are very low. And since I will never hear it again, this is a fair placing. This reached #53 but sadly not their last hit, they will be back in a couple of years.

27 Another Bad Creation - Iesha
Well I couldn't describe this band better than their name. It is another manufactured pre-pubescent swing beat boy band, they just get worse and worse. This is just a mess but they have a much worse song to come. This was their debut single and it reached #9 in the US.

26 New Kids On The Block - Call It What You Want
This though is really terrible, from a remix album, they just throw everything at it, those annoying house samples that have appeared on these lists time and time again, they get a rapper in but when they start singing, it is just the same old New Kids just buried in awful production, nobody could dance to this. It reached #12 in the UK.

I come back to this thread and we have 2 New Kids songs. I remember Games sampled the chant at the witch's castle in the Wizard of Oz.
Pat and Mick's song is a cover of Brendon's 1977 hit.
I have Another Bad Creation as being on my playlist of 2 February 1991 but not listed even in the bubblers which suggests it was too bad to stay on my playlist. Other than that, I don't recall it at all.

25 2 Unlimited - Get Ready For This
The first appearance for the Eurodance stars and it is crazy to think they have much worse to come. The actual tune and beat etc is at least something different but the rap is awful, it's just a very bad song. Only that hook saves this from being in the top 20. This reached #2 in the UK and #38 in the US.

24 Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jason Donovan, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" 1991 London Cast - Any Dream Will Do
Firstly how did this happen! Well we know why, it is pure star power. He is a terrible singer, the last place he should be is in a Stage Musical but then this opened the door for anybody do to this, c'mon he was replaced by Philip Schofield ffs!! I don't even like the song, just awful. It was a number one in the UK of course.

23 Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers - Over to You John (Here We Go Again)
Yes they are still coming out. I give up talking about these, it got to #28 in the UK.

22 New Kids On The Block - If You Go Away
They are just churning them out before they are completely forgotten, although somehow they came back!!!. Here we have the generic US pop ballad. Which actually gets worse when the chorus comes in, just painful. It reached #9 in the UK and #16 in the US.

21 Jason Donovan - Happy Together
Away from musicals, we just have a terrible cover. I used to like this song not after this. Nowhere else in the world cares anymore but this made #10 in the UK.

I think Get Ready For This is excellent, I’ve always thought if 2 Unlimited never did anything else they’d be quite fondly remembered. It’s worth pointing out the UK single release didn’t have a rap in it though, and was better for it.

That is a good point and maybe why I disliked this version so much as an instrumental it is not bad

After the first looking on UK 1991 charts I think that my least favourite single is Salt-N-Pepa - Let's Talk About Sex.

I think another song with Sex in the title that got to #1 in the UK chart is likely to show up.
I actually went to see the Joseph musical and Jason Donovan was playing Joseph. He doesn't do a lot of singing, the "narrator", who was played by Linzi Hateley does quite a lot more. The other brothers are clearly more dancers than singers but also do some singing.
It wasn't a bad casting and I think Andrew Lloyd Webber would not have agreed if he were really that bad, as it's surely a project he took more seriously than that Timmy Mallett single the previous year or the Tetris hit of the following year. (He liked to have a bit of fun on the pop charts). And at least Jason Donovan could definitely act.

maybe more than one
20 Sonia - You to Me Are Everything
Cover of The Real Thing hit and well you can already guess what it sounds like, generic PWL beats and Sonia with her awful voice all over it. This reached #13 in the UK

19 Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jason Donovan, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" 1991 London Cast - Joseph Mega Remix
Just when you think it can't get any worse they now combine Joseph songs with a megamix, yes it even has Wooh Heys!! Come back the original version all is forgiven, this is 10x worse!! This also raeched #13 in the UK.
