Not sure if there's been one in previous seasons or not?
Thought it'd be a good idea to keep track of all, generaly major, transfers in one place. Started today as Spurs have agreed to sign Luca Modric for in excess of £15m.
He's a great player, bossed the game against England on that dreadful night, and at just 22 could prove to be a great signing. £15m is a bit of a gamble, though...

The first thing I thought when I saw the headline was "ooh, decent signing". £15.8m is a bit steep, but this signing (and potentially others) could cement Spurs' 5th place next season. Although Berbatov might leave if anyone meets the asking price, Juande Ramos said. Competition's a lot tougher now than it was a few years ago, too. We've been linked with a load of people. I think we need two to three quality players, plus replacement for anyone who leaves (Hleb, Gilberto, Flamini).

The Premiership is going to be so exciting next season. The top four should hopefully be closer, Tottenham, Pompey, and Newcastle, Villa, Everton and Man City will expect to be in Europe, Blackburn and West Ham wouldn't want to be too far behind. Boro, Sunderland and Wigan would hope to make progress again next year and climb the league. I cannot see the relagtion battle being between anyone other than the three that go up and the two that survive.
It really is going to be so, so hard to get promoted and become competitive now!

Liverpool have made a bid for Barry... I'm still hoping that we can sign him, particularly if Flamini leaves.

I'd like Notts to sign Michael Boulding from the Stags, probably wishful thinking though!

Don;t understand Liverpool one bit. The one position they actually have decent strenght in is the one they try and improve!

they try and unsettle villa's captain 2 games before the end of the season in the hope villa are rattled by it and miss out on europe (inter toto) so they can sign him in the summer. their bid isn't even money! its a mish mash of sh*te players.
liverpool are a disgrace to football, the chairman are idiots, rick "the grass" parry hasn't got a clue and benitez will never win the league because he is to proud to back down from rotation and zonal marking.
and like mark says the only position they have quality and lots of it at the moment is their central midfield!

It's not like Liverpool are much better than Villa anyway. They're only 11 points ahead (the same gap there is between Man U/Chelsea and Liverpool) so why would Villa want Liverpool's reserves?

PLAYERS RANDOMLY LINKED IN THE PRESS WITH A MOVE TO BORO: 1. Jimmy Bullard (Fulham) 2. Boaz Myhill (Hull) 3. Andre Bikey (Reading) 4. Roger Johnson (Cardiff)
I wonder if we'll beat last year's mark of 82...

I'd like Notts to sign Michael Boulding from the Stags, probably wishful thinking though! I cant see him staying, but he might as his brother is here still, he doesn't need the money. Maybe he'll go to Lincoln? Rumours of Richie Barker coming to the Stags, a Boulding/Barker partnership would rip this league apart

I delighted that Notts have signed Michael Johnson from Derby. Back to the club where he started his career! He was key in strengthening our defence towards the end of the season. Shame we can't sign Russell Hoult as well!
