And yes, we DO need another Siob Don album. I gather that she is indeed working on new material!

Surprised it's Keisha gone - so none of the originals left now

From Keisha's Twitter:
Dear Friends I'm sad to say that I am no longer apart of the Sugababes.
I've had a great time and have achieved more then I ever thought I would.
Although it was not my choice to leave, it's time to enter a new chapter in my life
I have nothing but positive things to say about the girls and I wish them the best of luck.
I would like to state that there were no arguments, bullying or anything of the sort that lead to this.
Sometimes a break down in communication and lack of trust can result in many different things.
I would also like to point out that I have always supported the girls and they have also supported me.
Remember my drunk pictures out with Amelle, supporting her on her success with Tinchy Stryder... Oh the shame... But what a fun night we had
Now I'm going to take some time to focus on me. I've been in this band for 11 years and I have achieved so much.
I have a great family and friends who are behind me 100% and at the age of 24, I'm now going out into this world on my own...
Although im nervous... I'm still very excited on what lies ahead. :-)
I want to thank the Sugababes fans and my fans for all your support and all who have never judged me, but excepted me for who I am...
The feisty, funny, professional, fearless, motor mouth... lol
This is not the end... but the beginning!!!!
Thank you always... Keisha xxx

Oh my God!!! Really wasn't expecting this Keisha has the most powerful vocals of any 'Babe, and I can't believe she's left. I wouldn't have minded so much with Amelle, but Heidi to me seems like the only real Sugababe. Amelle has really been growing on me lately, and I hope Jade goes down better than I expect. I feel cold just thinking about this

Also, never realised how much Jade and Amelle look alike, especially in this picture

Crikey! Wasn't expecting that! No wonder they locked her Twitter. Lol, a whole line-up of unoriginal members. Love love love Jade and this is a fantastic opportunity for her, i really hope it goes well. Gutted the album has been shelved though. Was looking forward to it.

I'll be interested to know what the straw was that broke the camels back in regards to their management companies decision to part with the only remaining member of the group. Seeing that Siobhan and Mutya (although in respect of Siobhan produced some great material) they didn't really go onto massive global success - and I expect Keisha saw that, and should imagine put up a bit of a fight with the opinion that she was the driving force of the band. "Going solo" now to her I think is a slightly frightening affair - as I can't imagine for a second that she will come out of this smelling of roses if the rumours of bullying within the band are true, and will not work in her favour with any inked deal that she has gotten as a "golden handshake" - but then if they are true, then it serves her right.
In regards to the Sugababes hereon in - I will be interested to see how the whole "Sweet 7" project pans out - and how much they are going to rerecord or keep - I would have thought that the album must be pretty much complete and in final mixing stages by now. I mean the artwork is pretty simple and alterable (but then it looked like it took all of five minutes anway). However, I do think this is last we'll see of "Sugababes" as a brand anyway - Amelle's solo career was pretty much obvious, which is why I was in unshock that it was her rumoured to have left in the first place.
Having been a fan from the first single, it'll be a bit gutting to see them go, but then I was always surprised they got to album #7 anyway!
So, for me - this album ---> Greatest Hits ----> end of.
Thats the way I see it anyway! (And not to right them off completely, obviously).

Ugh, why do people have to leave? I have to say that today is the day I stopped respecting Sugababes and the people behind the band. Not only I hated 'Get sexy', but I hate 'About a girl' even more. So I guess I didn't lose too much anyway and wasn't really planning to buy this album. I hope that one day we'll see the origins of Sugababes reunited and sing 'Overload' together.
I want more Siobhan music. And I don't care for the rest. They can split or replace, I just don't care about Sugababes anymore.

To be the honest the band should go under a different name, the original lineup have now gone, or disbanded... they do have a 3 year contract with an American label which has a no get out clause until the 3 year contract has run its full course.
I'm guessing their new album will be re-recorded with Jade Ewen now. It just seems so strange when Jade was originally in a girl group herself and they well less known and disbanded, and now she is in a successful girl band.
It be very ironic if the original lineup decided to team up again and reform under a different name.
