Me neither. I used to love them to bits, but now its just all gotten stupid. I would have preferred them to split rather than lose Keisha anyway!

From DS -
Sugababes have postponed the release of their upcoming new album Sweet 7.
The record, which was originally due out on November 23, has now been delayed until February 22 next year.
According to In4merz, the three-piece will release a third single, 'Wear My Kiss', from the LP on February 8.
Sugababes were recently forced to pull out of promotion for the album after Amelle Berrabah was diagnosed with nervous exhaustion. She has since been recovering in a private clinic in Europe.
The group are still expected to release new single 'About A Girl' on November 9.

Such a waste of the first 2 singles then.

They're just digging themselves further and further into a hole.

It really is a sad state of affairs - there is almost no buzz around for About A Girl, I can see it missing the Top 10 now, the album doesn't stand a chance.
If it were a lame horse, they'd shoot it. Straws. Clutching. Much.

Unfortunately with Amelle out of commission there's not a lot the record company can do

Do the decent thing and admit defeat?

The thing is, I think About a Girl is one of the hottest songs to be released in the next couple of months. However, I inifinitely prefer the Keisha version. I've heard a few of the leaked album tracks and they sound great, but the thing is, the public do not want to buy the album of a girlgroup who seem to be coming apart at the seems.
If this album does get released, I can garuntee that it will be their last. Which is so sad, because I've always had a soft spot for the Sugababes, but I suppose their personal disagreements took precedence over the music.

I'm surprised at entering in the Top 5 too. We'll see how it fairs as the week goes on. It's still not brilliant for a *new* Sugababes track, especially when it is stronger than the "first" single off the album. Though there is a bit of competition for it this week.
The three current Babes will have to keep their fingers crossed on the album - if it stiffs completely (which I hope it won't) it's going to hinder any later solo projects - especially Amelle, who appears to be the one they have groomed for solo status. Before all this lark I would have thought a solo #1/top #3 wouldn't have been out of the question for her, now I'm not so sure.

I can't see it staying top 5 until Sunday, but regardless it's done well and better than exected in a TOUGH week. I mean, they're going up against Leona and Britney for starters, plus a whole load of other X Factor exploits. I'm hoping the third single (if they get to it) is stronger still and has a better chance

The third single is 'Wear My Kiss' - yet another Amelle-centric track. I like it but I don't love it. Could be a grower.
