The intro bit is terrible but after that it's decent enough. It doesn't stand out particularly but it's certainly not a bad video...

The intro is a bit WTF moment and its terrible, it ok-ish but nothing special, she looks terribly thin though, she needs more meat on her

Not that impressed with the video tbh, where's the fun of "Telephone"?

I doubt she could ever top the Telephone video now Perhaps the next video will be Paparazzi/Telephone mk. 3?

We always knew that she was a bit crazy, but I think somewhere between Telephone and Alejandro she lost it that little bit more, now she thinks she can do anything and be great, PLUS she has the Little Monsters to back her up with EVERYTHING.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a MASSIVE GaGa fan, I just don't see why she should be praised so much for something so average.

It's not a BAD video as such, it's just trying too hard (much like the song itself). The birthing, almost god-like imagery make me feel kind of uncomfortable. I just wish she'd let the influence of the song occur naturally, rather than permanently pre-empting that it will be an anthem of the generation, will change the world etc.
I hope the rest of the album is a bit more subtle.

Lady Gaga's second album Born This Way is to be exclusively streamed on Metro.co.uk from May 18th - five days ahead of its worldwide release.
British Gaga fans will be able to listen to the album nearly a week early, with all 14 tracks being streamed on the site from next Wednesday.
The Judas singer has continually teased her 'little monsters' with details of the release, leaking lyrics, cover art, behind-the-scenes videos and the album's track listing via her Twitter account.
Now fans will be able to enjoy Lady Gaga's much-hyped second album by heading to metro.co.uk/gaga, where the tracks will be streamed on a specially-developed microsite.
Metro.co.uk will be the only place UK residents will be able to listen to the album in full before its official release.
Jamie Walters, Metro's Executive Director – Digital, said of the announcement: 'We are delighted to be working with Universal to give Metro.co.uk users such a fantastic exclusive.
'Many of Metro.co.uk's users are already huge Lady Gaga fans, so this is a perfect fit.'

I'm assuming Metro would have to actually pay for the privilege of streaming it? I'd love to know what sort of figures are involved. It will clearly drive massive traffic to their site, especially as it's been given exclusivity...

I know I may have picked up a reputation for being a bit anti-GaGa, but even I was expecting to eat all my words when this album was released, because I guess even I was a little bit convinced by all the hype.
I've heard the album now, and it's even worse than I was expecting. I hate the direction she's gone in. She said at the start of her career that 'Pop music will never be low brow' and it was exciting that she was getting the attention from radio that pop musicians hadn't received in wealth in YEARS. She was fun, exciting, interesting, fresh and a bit eccentric, which is what made her stand out. But by the sounds of it she's let that last bit go to her head, and that's all she's about now. She's lost everything else, and it's a shame. She used to be so un-predictable, but now even that's become entirely predictable and very much annoying.
This whole album is self-indulgent, preachy and not fun at all. It sounds like she's trying to aim for something that's 'above pop' and superior, which completely contradicts what she seemed to be setting out to do from the start. I've always said that her first album was full of filler, and that it was over rated, but her second album was actually pretty great, just a shame she couldn't pull that off in a real LP. This one is also FULL of filler, only it's not fun, innocent and harmless filler, it's filler which tries to have a 'meaningful' message, and it misses on every track imo. There aren't even any killer hooks to enjoy, it's nothing but pretentious, nonsensical 'lyrics' which are barely related to the 'lyrics' that proceed and follow them, put over exaggerated productions which were an obvious attempt at just being different for the sake of it. It's non-cohesive and bland. Just my opinion of course.
I know most people have been caught up in the hype, and would disagree with me, but I'm entitled to voice this opinion as much as anyone who wants is entitled to listen to this album more than they've listened to any album before, and call it 'the best album EVER MADE' or something. But I'm proud to be one of those people who was happy being me, before Lady GaGa told me it was okay to be.

Halfway through and it's an odd album. Seems to be trying way too hard. Love Americano in a Eurovison kind of way and Marry The Night sounds ok but Government Hooker and Scheiße have left me cold on first listen

I've heard most tracks and won't be buying it. Have The Fame and separate Fame Monster disc but money's tight so am very choosy what I buy these days.

Also she's not releasing it in an explicit form. That's kind of frustrating too. If you're planning on censoring 'swear' words on every version of your record, don't put them in the lyrics in the first place! She's an absolute moron! No one will thank her for it.

It's nowhere near as good as Fame Monster but i guess that won't matter as her fans will buy it in their masses

It's not so much bad as underwhelming. Only played it once and wasn't in a hurry to listen again
