Talking of the V8's, Round one in Abu Dabai was some cracking racing under the floodlights, made the liveries glissen.
Round 3 and 4 was in Adelaide, typically ruled by the vodafone team, rick kelly and tander.
Best moment of the race was the GIS:
Rounds 5 and 6 are in Hamilton.

The opening round of the new Indycar season is underway in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Road course specialist Will Power started from pole, ahead of champion Dario Franchitti.
Mike Conway started 4th in his first race since suffering serious injuries in last year's Indy 500. Justin Wilson started 6th. James Jakes is the fourth British driver on the grid, starting 22nd on his series debut.

Anyone know which British channels are broadcasting the following series ?
World Rally Championship Aussie V8 Supercars NASCAR Indy Cars Le Mans
All I've found so far is WTCC on Eurosport, plus F1 of course. I assume the BTCC will continue on ITV.

Believe ITV4 for live BTCC. Le Mans is Eurosport. WRC; motors tv? Dave used to have highlights Indy Cars will be sky of some sort, eurosport maybe. Aussie V8's there is no British TV channel showing them: darcyf1.com has whole races uploaded day after they happen, where I get them from, otherwise youtube sometimes has someone stick them up first, bmwdvl has them up in full usually. Darcyf1 is the best though, and best to download to computer, use vlc media player. Hope that helps. Darcyf1 also has footage from other series, normally crashes, carrera cup AU had a big crash uploaded from Melbourne of Patrizi crashing coming out of the fast chicane of turn 12.

I believe ESPN are showing WRC this year.
Sky Sports are probably showing Indycar and NASCAR again.

But more surprisingly, Sato had nothing to do with it

Pippa Mann has signed up to drive for Conquest Racing in the Indy 500. She finished 5th in last year's Indy Lights championship (the Indy equivalent of GP2), winning in Kentucky and taking 3 pole positions.
Dan Wheldon and Jay Howard also have drives for the Indy 500, bringing the total of British drivers to 7.
Mike Conway's win is his first Indycar victory and comes in only his third race back after his near-fatal crash in last year's Indy 500.

Latest round of V8's was in Hamilton NZ. Kelly brothers in race one got their first win with the co-owned team and a 3rd to go along with it in one of the wettest races I've ever watched. Lownes came in the middle of them. Second race local boy the GIS won his first ever race, a very popular victory for a well loved guy in the sport. At only 21, having started at 19 a champion in the making, racing for a NZ team as well. Jubalation was seen.
Next round is in Perth.

Predictions for this season - the GP2 title really should be between Grosjean and Bianchi if the Asia Series is anything to go by. Grosjean has won pretty much every championship he has competed in since being kicked out of F1 so I expect him to win again.
GP3 - Sims and Bottas really need to be contending for the title this year. I expect Nico Muller will be strong too after a competitive 2010.
We haven't mentioned the World Series by Renault championship which started a few weeks ago. The driver lineup is very strong there - Ricciardo and Vergne of Red Bull, GP3 runner-up Robert Wickens and Alexander Rossi are all looking strong.
