Not sure if they are still going or not but they released two more albums after the debut. The problem for them was Monster was almost too big and most people werent interested in the other stuff and their unique selling point, the screaming keyboard player, left. Not listened to the album for a long time but I seem to remember that it wasnt up to much past the singles.

pretty much sums the automatic up, a few decent singles since but after the keyboard player left they kinda vanished into obscurity

I did buy their album but, beyond the singles, it really wasn't that good. This was always my favourite song by them:

I thought Raoul was the best song they did. Its funny that Pennie seemed to annoy reviewers, but I thought he made them stand out from the others and he really added to the band especially live. Ive just reminded myself of Steve McQueen and its not bad and actually got to 18 in the charts which is better than most of the bands named on her managed with the first single on their second album. Apparently they are still going although the members are working on different projects. Pennie is apparently now in a band called The Goodtime Boys.

there was something about kinesis that didn't sound mainstream for me at the time they were around. i liked their first album, but wasn't really surprised they didn't get anywhere. think it might have been the vocals. agreed about easyworld; they had some great songs. '2nd amendment' was fantastic. Two of my favourite bands, took me forever to find their albums to buy!

I knew one song of each while they were about, refound the songs a couple of years after and then attempted to find their albums - by then it was really difficult, especially Easyworld.
Kill The Last Romantic and Handshakes For Bullets were storming albums too.

Easyworld's first album is much better than the 2nd in my view.

According to wiki they arent really still going as the members are off doing other things, but they havent actually split up either.

they have gone from selling hundreds of thousands of records, playing massive festivals, being all over mtv and the radio to...the abyss of nothingness following two albums that flopped
wouldn't say they were better now...
if anything their career kinda resembles a millionaire that looses everything and now finds themself living on the street as a tramp, mega upgrade
