Some people are in for a big treat tonight, that's all I'm going to say for now, it was so good, and the ending pretty good, not for the faint hearted though.
Can't wait for next week, with the trail. Some more heads will be rolling.

Burning rather than rolling I'd have thought...

A very horrible, but richly-deserved death.
Back on form for me this week: a few niggles and disappointments but it was a great episode. The Meereen scenes were awesome as well; I'm SO glad stuff is finally moving along a little over there!

The dragons were amazing, but also could be taken out by fireballs.

Finally the Meereen stuff was epic!
I was so frustrated with the Rickon scene though. RUN IN A BLOODY ZIG ZAG!!! Reminds me of Prometheus.
Next week looks like a brilliant episode though and I can't wait. I hope it goes off in Kings Landing because it's been so dull so far this season. The series needs to end there in epic proportions!

I have to say Mondays episode was the best so far in what has been a rather dull season.
From start to end, it had me hooked.
Why did the brother not do a spice girls and run a zigzagahhhh.
When Jon Snow was trapped, the effect of smothering came out out of my tv and made me feel it.
Gutted when the big fella went down. Quite an emotional look between him and snow.
Final scene made me think of feeding the dogs more often.

The battle for Winterfell was so epic, and the first time we've seen a proper battle of the like. They copped out of the Stannis/Bolton battle by zooming out of all the action! And all the others have most been sieges. The trampling segment was so effective.

Yes, the trampling seen was very powerful. Most men that go to war probably imagine a glorious death at the hands of the enemy, but the harsh reality of war was really emphasised by this shocking scene that seemed so real. Glad they survived it.

I guess that's pretty much the end of the Wildlings then? There can't be more than a 100 or so able bodied left?

I just can't wait for something to finally happen in King's Landing!! I hope they close the season there. I don't want another ending like season 4 with Arya riding into the sunset.

I feel I need to write reams and reams about that episode but am not in a position to do so now. Later maybe.
But yes, it was very good. A couple of annoying niggles but hey! Still one of the best season finales the show's produced.

I am SOOOOOOO happy that Cersei got that crown!! I don't even care if it's short lived, she got there! And the fact that she now has no children makes me think she'll be even more ruthless next season!
I think Dany is VERY overpowered right now though. Even if all the forces in Westeros were to combine forces against her, it still wouldn't be enough. The fact that she has a few houses as allies in Westeros makes her unstoppable. I think they're going to have to do something to level the playing field a little bit at the start of next season or the Lannister force will be wiped out in minutes. Maybe a Lannister/Greyjoy alliance with Euron??
Also the complete lack of Hound appearance makes me wonder what the hell the point was in bringing him back this season?? And I also have no idea where they're going with Brienne, I thought maybe they'd have given that some direction in the finale.
