I am SOOOOOOO happy that Cersei got that crown!! I don't even care if it's short lived, she got there! And the fact that she now has no children makes me think she'll be even more ruthless next season! I think Dany is VERY overpowered right now though. Even if all the forces in Westeros were to combine forces against her, it still wouldn't be enough. The fact that she has a few houses as allies in Westeros makes her unstoppable. I think they're going to have to do something to level the playing field a little bit at the start of next season or the Lannister force will be wiped out in minutes. Maybe a Lannister/Greyjoy alliance with Euron?? Also the complete lack of Hound appearance makes me wonder what the hell the point was in bringing him back this season?? And I also have no idea where they're going with Brienne, I thought maybe they'd have given that some direction in the finale. Yeah, I only realised when I got to work and was teasing a colleague who hadn't seen the episode yet that Brienne, Pod and the Hound hadn't appeared. I knew it was unlikely but I was still imagining the last image or one of the multiple cliffhangers to be *that* zombie return and that somehow those three would be linked into it. Was odd to bring the Hound back, then not pit him against the Mountain, or have him do anything other than bump into the Brotherhood, who also returned from the wilderness and did bugger all!

I think now we can finally move on from the LSH theory though. They did troll the heck out of us this series though! They were referencing it about half a dozen times an episode Also I'm hoping that's not the last we see of Lady Mel! I'm sure she's bound to cross paths with Arya at some point, she did explicitly tell Arya that they'd meet again back in season 2 or 3.

I think the Brotherhood and Hound will meet up with Brienne and Pod, they were in a similar area weren't they, head north to fight the coming winter? I really enjoyed it, the start was building to the wildfire as expected, but wow oh wow and Tommen did the best thing and ended it! I still think Cersei is coming to a sticky end though, Jaime didn't look convinced, have to kill the mad queen this time? Arya popping up, brilliant! Lady Mormont's speech, excellent! Sansa not falling for LittleFinger, smart, but watch your back love! My only niggle is the bald eunoch is in Dorne to rally support, then he's on the ships leaving Meereen! No more Margaery

I think as far as Varys being on the ships is concerned, it's quite clear that a lot of time had lapsed in the space of this episode. If you look at the sails on the ships you can clearly see that both the Martell and Tyrell fleets are among Dany and the Greyjoy's.
I think Cersei's demise is inevitable, I'm just curious how it's going to happen. Even with the Armada heading her way, I'd say Arya is the biggest threat.

I'm just worried that Arya is on Jaime's tail, when it wasn't him that killed her brother, but I assume she wants to kill all the Lannisters, not that there's many left So where is the Tyrell army, as they'd left the city, I assume Cersei has a Lannister army left, but it isnt very big. All Dany has to do is fly her dragons over the city, and the common people will open the gates for her

I don't think she's ever actually named Jamie on her list, has she? Not even sure she feels wronged by him in anyway. And she doesn't hate Lannister's in general by a rule or she'd have named Tyrion and Cersei's other children.
The Tyrell army is with Dany. Their ships definitely are at any rate as you can see them in the final shot. Can only imagine the army is on them.

Damn GOT is so confusing.

He was his b*st*rd, his son by another woman, that is the story we are told, but she is in fact the child of neds sister, but they haven't shown us who the father is, but we all have our suspicions... I've also heard the last two seasons may be 7 eps each, felt like the end game was coming in just one more season for me.

Think it's been officially stated that there are 13 episodes left, so potentially 2 seasons.

I've also heard the last two seasons may be 7 eps each, felt like the end game was coming in just one more season for me. I thought this too at first, but if you turn the volume up you can hear what Lyanna is whispering: She says something like 'Protect my baby, if Robert finds out he'll kill him, you know he will. Promise me, Ned.' She also whispers the baby's name but that is completely inaudible. This pretty much confirms the identity of the father: It can't be Robert because there's no way he'd kill his own child, especially not his child by Lyanna. But we know that Rhaegar 'kidnapped' Lyanna, so either he raped her and Jon is the result, or they were actually in a consensual relationship. Some fans speculate that Rhaegar and Lyanna actually fell in love and were married, making Jon a legitimate Targaryen heir, but that's still unknown. Either way though, the father is almost certainly Rhaegar Targaryen. I'm sad about the show coming to an end but it makes perfect sense when you consider that everything is heading towards a conclusion now. Dany is finally coming back to Westeros, all Cersei's children are dead, the Starks have retaken the North and the White Walkers are coming. It's hard to see how they can stretch it out for another two full seasons, so I think the plan of having 13 more episodes is right.

It does feel a bit like the war with the White Walkers hasn't even started yet, so I hope it's not rushed in the end.

I think Dany will finish dealing with Cersei in the south right about the time that the Wall comes down (which it will, since Benjen revealed that the WW can't cross it) and the WW finally invade the North, paving the way for the great Starkgaryen alliance that everyone knows must happen at some point

Hopefully Cersei sticks around until the finale of next season then. It would seem pretty underwhelming if they were able to finish her off in a few episodes.

White walkers can be killed by fire, so dragontime? Only the main guys need killing by dragonglass and, maybe Samwell will find some way to take them out or reverse it so Benjen can be living again? I wanna get to the end, I hated Lost when they started padding it out for the sake of dragging it out.

Wights are the re-animated dead (basically zombies) whereas the White Walkers are the masters who take a lot more to kill, like the Dragonglass for instance.
