Xherdan Shaqiri's goal. Wow. Just wow. According to Lawrenson, it's all because of his small centre of gravity.

Off to work just in time to see the game. I'm really excited about it. And btw, France is so in love with the irish supporters. Even I only smiled when they woke me up at 6 AM singing...

Xherdan Shaqiri's goal. Wow. Just wow. I believe it was in the same goal as Michael Owen's famous goal against Argentina in 1998 - clearly not a good goal to score remarkable goals in. Good result from Wales, thanks to an own goal. Curiously, the 3 teams to have scored own goals so far have all ended in I_eland. Heartbreak for Croatia, conceding at the end of extra time shortly after hitting the woodwork. It does mean that Portugal are in the QFs despite not having yet won a game inside 90 minutes.

I reckon Portugal have an easy ride to the semis now, until they meet France or Germany or Italy/Spain at some point. Maybe not Germany I think they are in the other draw. For me Portugal are the worst team in this tournament that I have seen playing.
The Hungary/Belgium match should be a good game, saying that the previous three matches have been rather dull in the last 16 round.

Easy win for Germany, but I turned off midway through the second half, it just was dull to watch. Play Spain or Italy in the next round, another big country to go, I reckon Spain and Italy are goners after the final 8.

What a shambolic performance and an embarrassing defeat.
Well done Iceland though.
Goodbye Hodgson, you are totally clueless.

Garbage.
But is it all Hodgson's fault? I didn't realise it was his fault for sh*te crosses and an inability to control or save the ball. Joe Hart was garbage!

Goodbye Hodgson, you are totally clueless. More like useless as a plank of wood. Should have really walked it. At the moment I can't see who will replace Roy Hodgson, unless Gary Neville takes it on.

"Lads, this isn't what I meant when I said I wanted out of Europe!" And I imagine Adam Johnson is grateful he has now been replaced in a lot of meme's since Friday. Still look on the bright side, imagine the score tonight if we had to play Asda; Tesco; or Sainsbury.

Roy Hodgson has resigned
I fancy Gareth Southgate or Gary Neville, I would go with the former
