I don't like Magnetic Man's album much, some of it is very good but overall I think it's too long and that there aren't enough vocals.

Really liking Katy B at the moment, she's a bit different to what's in the the charts at the moment and I think it's great, although I'm sure that in a years time there will be a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon.
'Katy on a Mission' is great although it took a while to grow on me, and I adore 'Perfect Stranger' with Magnetic Man, I thought that would be a lot bigger than it was. Her next single 'Lights On' is out next month and is with Ms. Dynamite, I think it's wonderful, certainly a bit different from the other songs she's involved in.

As a neutral I'd go:
Gomes Sagna Clichy Vermaelen Dawson Song Fabregas Van der Vaart Nasri Bale van Persie
Bench: Almunia, Corluka, Huddlestone, Arshavin, Modric, Defoe, Chamakh

There's no way Bale would go for anywhere near £80m. The only players that have ever gone for more than £40m are players who're already proven and been at the top of their game for ages. Bale has been good for 6 months of football now.

My point was the referee himself claimed he played an advantage. So he's either messed up big time or he's a liar. How long is the advantage rule supposed to last though? Gomes had the advantage for a few seconds, which isn't less than they'd usually play.

If there has been an infringement, yes. As was the case here. The referee should have signalled that he was playing the advantage. If the ref had not seen the handball (quite possible from where he was standing as he can't see the other side of Nani) he would not know there was an advantage. He gave no penalty, which is play on, the linesman didn't let him know about that handball until after Nani had scored.

Chelsea don't have the squad to let their youngsters out, which is a good thing I think. Their 6 outfield subs on Tuesday were all youth players, good stuff!

Megson was on Sky Sports News last night as a match reporter along with Merson, Thompson etc. Maybe he said something there about being interested?

It's utter rubbish. It has a break every few years and they decided to go with '12 instead of '11 because it's Olympics year.

Billy Davies is interesting. If this were three months down the line then I think you'd get him. I'm still convinced that he'll stay until January and will then leave in February when we fail in the transfer market yet again.

The thing with diving is it can never be clear cut? The Rooney one above, he's going down before the keeper touches him so therefore it's a dive.
But is it? He's always going to be taken out by the goalkeeper, so surely it makes sense to try and avoid getting the worst possible contact and therefore the greatest chance of injury? Therefore it's not a dive. I personally don't think anything where there is contact can be a dive. If it is obvious a player is going to foul you, you make sure you win the free-kick or penalty with the lowest chance of hurting yourself. Common sense, no?

You can't just blame Roy. The players didn't seem to be motivated at all. If you can't motivate yourself for one of Europe's biggest local derbies, when your club has just been taken over and your fans are all celebrating, then there's something fundamentally wrong. I personally don't think Liverpool would be much higher if Benitez was there. Average squad with average players, most of which he bought. Two years with David N'Gog as a second choice striker? Utter madness. I think some people should stop believing the Rupert Murdoch run media (Fox/Sky/The Scum/Lies Of The World/The Times). Former owner Tom Hicks is a good friend of Rupert Murdoch having been at parties of his on numerous occasions as they both share a similar Far Right overly Capitalist political view on a Reaganomics/Thatcherite level with both claiming to be libertarian's. (What a joke). And Rupert Murdoch newspapers don't sell well in Liverpool (even in the blue half), and haven't done so for over 21 years for pretty obvious reasons. Hmmm, I think I can form my own opinions thanks. I don't pay attention to any of the above publications you mentioned. I form my own opinions by actually watching football. I watched Liverpool's match on Saturday and there was barely any passion whatsoever. What I said was true, if you can't raise yourself for the biggest game your club has had in ages, when the fans are celebrating for the first time in months, then there's something far more wrong than just the manager. £10m a season and yet the squad still got worse. I don't just mean fell (further) behind Chelsea, Man Utd etc, but actually got worse. The squad Rafa left Liverpool with was IMO, a shadow of the squad he had 2-3 years previous when Torres first joined. Rafa may not have "wasted" money on Poulsen, Merieles etc (God forbid anyone should give foreign players time to settle in a new league), however he did "waste" money on average players such as Kyriagos, Dossena, Riera, Lucas, Babel, Degen.... So Roy Hodgson has managed to sell a player who was completely useless under Rafa Benitez, for over twice as much as you paid for him (if we're going by your figures)? What an utterly apalling manager! As I said, you can't just blame Roy. That doesn't mean to say it's not his fault, but there is something fundamentally wrong at that football club and I think Rafa did very well to leave at the right time. Whoever was at the club, I think they'd be struggling. In the last two seasons Roy Hodgson has massively overachieved, taking a Fulham team to 7th in the league finishing ahead of the likes of Spurs and moneybags City, and then to the Europa League final knocking out the likes of Hamburg, Wolfsburg, Juventus and Shakhtar. It takes a quality manager to do that, and I don't think he's become a bad manager overnight, sometimes things just don't work out in football (look at McClaren - brilliant a Boro, crap at England but brilliant again since). Eight league games whilst the majority of the focus on Liverpool is behind the scenes, is not enough time. It doesn't help that Liverpool have had some very tough games to start the season with, the next few games will be crucial. Blackburn, Bolton, Chelsea, Wigan, Stoke, West Ham. Again, stop making stuff up. At what point have I said that? As I said before, David N'Gog has been Liverpool's second choice striker for two years now. I suppose that's all Hodgson's fault as well, and nothing to do with Benitez not signing a half decent replacement for Robbie Keane when Torres has been consistantly injured.

Spot On. Desperate does not begin to describe Liverpool's inept performance today which has continued all season long under the clueless tactics of Roy Hodgson. If NESV are the winners they say they are, they must sack Roy and Sammy Lee NOW. Change of ownership cannot mask Roy's dreadful start to the season. We are a laughing stock. Roy can have as many friends in the English media as he likes saying it is all Rafa Benitez's fault when Liverpool fans know that if he was still manager we would have double the amount of points we currently have. "Woy" has shown once and for all (after his failures at Inter Milan, Blackburn Rovers and Udinese proved) he can't manage big teams to save his life. John Henry please find and call Martin O'Neill's phone number ASAP.. You can't just blame Roy. The players didn't seem to be motivated at all.
