Having watched again, I don't think the hooded figure has any significance. I think fans are just getting a little carried away! Would be nice to be wrong though.

Really not sure about the hooded figure. It could be a white walker who's sneaked onto the boats, or maybe even Benjen Stark (he must be out there somewhere!)
I agree, it was great to see the whitewalkers again. I'd started to doubt their desire to put together an attack as they seem to have been walking around aimlessly for the last few seasons. I hope they maintain the momentum and reach the Wall quickly. They are definitely the most exciting thing happening right now and put other petty squabbles into perspective.

One of the best pieces of action I've seen on TV in ages, absolutely awesome! Loved Episode 8.
A few people online are talking about a suspicious looking hooded figure in one of the boats. I didn't notice this so will have to watch again tonight.

I really enjoyed episodes 1 & 2. Episode 3 was very dodgy, and the relationship between Matt Dillon and his wife doesn't seem to quite work. Not sure whether my issues with the episode were down to a poor script or poor editing, but his wife seems to be accepting a lot of things without asking any of the obvious questions including how are you, what are you doing here and what the f**k is going on!!! In fact her and her son seemed more interested in the contents of the fridge than the bigger picture!
Hopefully the series can recover. Usually US series are too slow paced, but this is always trying to rush the storyline when it really doesn't need it. For now I am sitting on the fence as to whether this is going to be any good.

So it's been announced that the title of Episode 10 is... Mother's Mercy. *must not get hyped up again, must not get hyped up again* Interesting title, so just to speculate a bit who it's about - Daenerys (Mother of Dragons), Cersei (Mother of Tommen), Stannis' wife (Mother of Shireen, who we know Melisandre wants to sacrifice). Very intriguing!

Best episode of the series yet so many punch the air moments not to mention possibly the best boobs in the shows history and that's saying something. There was a really hilarious moment in that scene when Bronn keeled over just as she finished undoing her dress and it looked almost as though he was literally knocked out by the sight of her lady parts That entire scene seemed completely pointless unless I missed some longer term significance. The Dorne scenes are the only ones that seem wooden at times.

I can understand the romance of Monaco, but it really is the most pointless spectacle and never meets pre-race expectations. In any other race Mercedes cock up wouldn't have mattered, but as we know, Monaco is just a procession of cars from start to finish.

I hope Norwich make a record of lowest points scored next season. That would be some achievement, Derby set the bar almost impossibly low! Realistically I can't see that record ever getting broken

Credit to Norwich they played really entertaining and flowing football against Middlesbrough and effectively blew them off the park in the first 30 mins. They definitely deserved promotion.

I generally believe that Hull will pull off a shock result against Man Utd while Newcastle will only manage a draw against West Ham. It's quite conceivable that Newcastle will be bottom three on Sunday!

So Ser Meryn Trant is on his way to Braavos. Can we assume this will give Arya the perfect opportunity to inflict her revenge on him for killing Syrio Forel (assuming he is dead) and possibly be her first kill as a faceless assassin. To me it seems likely that Meryn Trant will kill Mace Tyrell under the orders of Cersei prior to his own death, but all is intriguingly poised!
