Friday's results: GROUP A Cyprus 0-3 Scotland Georgia 1-7 Spain GROUP D Croatia 5-0 Latvia Turkiye 1-1 Armenia GROUP J Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-1 Liechtenstein Luxembourg 3-1 Iceland Slovakia 0-1 Portugal Scotland are on the brink of qualification after scoring 3 times in the opening half hour to beat Cyprus. It means they maintain their 100% record and need just 2 more points to seal back-to-back Euros qualifications for the first time since 1996. They could even qualify whilst playing their friendly against England on Tuesday night if the game between Norway and Georgia ends as a draw. Lamine Yamal became Spain's youngest ever player and scorer, aged 16 years and 57 days as his side put 7 past Georgia. Turkiye needed a late equaliser against Armenia but remain top of Group D but Croatia are now just 3 points behind with 2 games in hand. Armenia would've gone top had they held on for the win. Luxembourg moved level on points with Slovakia in Group J and kept their hopes alive of an unlikely automatic qualification by beating Iceland. Portugal made it 5 wins out of 5 by beating Slovakia, Bruno Fernandes scoring the only goal. Liechtenstein scored their first goal of this Euro campaign against Bosnia and it was an absolute thunderbastard.

Saturday's results: GROUP C North Macedonia 1-1 Italy Ukraine 1-1 England (in Poland) GROUP F Azerbaijan 0-1 Belgium Estonia 0-5 Sweden GROUP I Andorra 0-0 Belarus Kosovo 2-2 Switzerland Romania 1-1 Israel England move a step closer to qualification after drawing with Ukraine. Kyle Walker scored his first international goal on his 77th England appearance after Oleksandr Zinchenko had put Ukraine ahead in Poland. England's cause is helped by Italy dropping points against North Macedonia, who earned a draw through Enis Bardhi's late equaliser. The only games that saw a victor were in Group F, where Belgium go top after they edged out Azerbaijan and Sweden enjoyed a dominant win over Estonia. It was a vital win for the Swedes who don't have the backup of a playoff place if they finish outside the top 2. Kosovo scored a stoppage time equaliser against Switzerland, who remain 2 points clear at the top of Group I due to Romania and Israel drawing.

Monday's results: GROUP D Armenia 0-1 Croatia Latvia 0-2 Wales GROUP J Iceland 1-0 Bosnia & Herzegovina Portugal 9-0 Luxembourg Slovakia 3-0 Liechtenstein A much-needed win for Wales keeps their hopes alive and they're now 3 points behind 2nd placed Turkiye. Croatia go top and have a game in hand on everyone else. Portugal move closer to an 8th consecutive Euros appearance by thrashing Luxembourg 9-0 (without Ronaldo). Luxembourg remain 3rd and still have a chance of a top 2 finish, though Slovakia boosted their own hopes after 3 goals in the opening 6 minutes were enough to beat Liechtenstein.

The top 3 all won in Group I, setting up a crucial couple of months. Romania's game against Kosovo was delayed for 45 minutes after the visitors walked off the pitch following chants from Romanian fans, who also held up a banner saying "Kosovo is Serbia".

Scotland being seeded would be a first, I think - I wonder how they would continue their unbroken run of group-stage exits?

That said, we could actually get a group consisting of Scotland, Albania, Romania and Luxembourg.

Thursday's results: GROUP A Cyprus 0-4 Norway Spain 2-0 Scotland GROUP D Croatia 0-1 Turkiye Latvia 2-0 Armenia GROUP E Albania 3-0 Czech Republic Faroe Islands 0-2 Poland GROUP I Andorra 0-3 Kosovo Belarus 0-0 Romania (in Hungary) Israel P-P Switzerland Scotland must wait a little longer to confirm their qualification after two late goals gave Spain victory. Scotland thought they'd gone ahead through Scott McTominay's wonder free kick but it was controversially ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper. Despite the defeat, Scotland's place at Euro 2024 will be confirmed on Sunday if Norway fail to beat Spain. A win for Spain would mean they qualify as well. Turkiye went top of Group D with a win over Croatia. They can seal their place on Sunday if they beat Latvia and Wales don't beat Croatia. Armenia missed the chance to go level on points with Croatia, losing to 10-man Latvia, who pick up their first points. Albania moved closer to a second-ever appearance at the Euros with a comprehensive win over 10-man Czech Republic. They sit out Sunday's qualifiers but finish next month with games against Moldova and the Faroe Islands . With the Israel v Switzerland match postponed, Romania missed the chance to go top of Group I as they were held to a goalless draw by Belarus.
