It will be their be their 9th appearance in a row. Greece move up to 2nd with victory over Ireland, who are all but eliminated, given they have virtually no chance of making the playoffs. Belgium are also there after holding off a late fightback from Austria. Despite their defeat, Austria will confirm their qualification on Monday if they beat Azerbaijan or Sweden fail to beat Belgium. Portugal also sealed their place though they too had hold off a late fightback from Slovakia. Luxembourg keep alive their chances of an unlikely top 2 finish by earning a point in Iceland. Bosnia aren't out of it either after they beat Liechtenstein.

Sunday's results: GROUP A Georgia 4-0 Cyprus Norway 0-1 Spain GROUP D Turkiye 4-0 Latvia Wales 2-1 Croatia GROUP E Czech Republic 1-0 Faroe Islands Poland 1-1 Moldova GROUP I Kosovo P-P Israel Romania 4-0 Andorra Switzerland 3-3 Belarus Spain's win over Norway means they qualify, as do Scotland. It is the first time Scotland have reached back-to-back Euros since 1996. With Norway unlikely to feature in the playoffs, Erling Haaland's wait for a major tournament debut will continue for another few years at least. Turkiye's place is also guaranteed with their win over Latvia, while Wales earned their best result of the post-Bale era by beating Croatia and leapfrogging them into 2nd place. Rob Page's side will definitely qualify if they win their last 2 games against Turkiye and Armenia. Poland dropped points at home to Moldova, who still have a chance of a top 2 finish. Czech Republic scraped a win at home to the Faroe Islands to move back up to 2nd. Poland's slip-up benefits Albania who are assured of qualification unless they lose their last 2 games and Moldova win their last 2. Romania return to the top of Group I after beating Andorra while Switzerland needed 2 stoppage time goals to salvage a point against Belarus. With Israel's games this week postponed, they face the prospect of playing a quadruple-header next month with their destiny still in their own hands.

Monday's results: GROUP B Gibraltar 0-4 Ireland (in Portugal) Greece 0-1 Netherlands GROUP F Azerbaijan 0-1 Austria Belgium A-A Sweden GROUP J Bosnia & Herzegovina 0-5 Portugal Iceland 4-0 Liechtenstein Luxembourg 0-1 Slovakia The match between Belgium and Sweden was abandoned at half-time after two Swedish fans were shot dead outside the stadium in Brussels before the game in an apparent terrorist attack. Earlier in the day Austria clinched their qualification with victory over Azerbaijan. Virgil van Dijk's stoppage time penalty gave the Netherlands victory over Greece, returning them to the top 2 in the process. One more win will be enough for the Dutch to qualify with games against Ireland and Gibraltar to come. Slovakia are also one win away from the finals after they edged past Luxembourg.

Tuesday's results: GROUP C England 3-1 Italy Malta 1-3 Ukraine GROUP G Lithuania 2-2 Hungary Serbia 3-1 Montenegro GROUP H Finland 1-2 Kazakhstan Northern Ireland 0-1 Slovenia San Marino 1-2 Denmark England seal their place at the Euros, turning on the style to beat the European champions 3-1 at Wembley. The result means England are guaranteed to finish top of Group C. Ukraine's win over Malta lifts them to 2nd and they will qualify if they beat Italy in their final game. Hungary missed the chance to seal qualification, having to come from 2-0 down to earn a point in Lithuania. However, one point from their last 2 games will see them book their place in Germany. Serbia are also just a point away after beating Montenegro. Slovenia and Denmark both had narrow wins to move to the verge of qualification. The only team that can stop either of them is Kazakhstan, who beat Finland. The Finns can no longer finish in the top 2 but will be in the playoffs, as will Kazakhstan if they don't catch Denmark or Slovenia.

UEFA has confirmed that the half-time score of the abandoned Belgium v Sweden match (1-1) will be considered final, since qualification from that group was done and dusted anyway.
Not sure what it'll do about Israel's matches, though - they're scheduled to play three in November but still have a fourth to arrange.

The only issue regarding the Belgium game was it potentially affecting Belgium's seeding for the tournament. By declaring 1-1 as the final score and both teams being awarded a point, it means Belgium will still clinch a top seeding by winning their final qualifying match, unless Hungary win their last 2 by huge scorelines.
Israel's schedule is certainly an awkward one, given the final games are supposed to be played at the same time. That said, Israel's position will be a lot clearer after they've played Switzerland and Romania and they're guaranteed a playoff spot anyway.

Israel's two postponed fixtures from last month will be played this week. They will face Kosovo away on Sunday, then take on Switzerland in Hungary on Wednesday. They will remain in Hungary for their last "home" game against Romania next Saturday before finishing away to Andorra.

Sunday's result: GROUP I Kosovo 1-0 Israel Israel's automatic qualification hopes suffer a blow with defeat to Kosovo, who keep their very slim hopes alive. Wednesday's result: GROUP I Israel 1-1 Switzerland A late equaliser keeps Israel's hopes of finishing in the top 2 alive though anything but a win over Romania on Saturday will mean they have to go through the playoffs. Switzerland are now top, still just needing one more win to qualify. A draw for Romania on Saturday will see them through. Table: 1. Switzerland 8-16 (+12) 2. Romania 8-16 (+9) ---------------------------------- 3. Israel 8-12 (-1) 4. Kosovo 8-10 (+1) 5. Belarus 8-6 (-7) 6. Andorra 8-2 (-14)
