In other news, World Snooker has revealed how the line-up for next year's Main Tour will be decided. Only 72 players from this season will keep their place, instead of 80.
The top 8 from the PIOS series will join them, along with 8 international champions from Europe, Asia and Oceania.
There will also be 8 wild cards. 7 will be decided by national and regional governing bodies (2 for England and 1 each for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Asia) with the other being decided by World Snooker itself.
All this means the following players are likely to lose their place on next season's tour:
Alex Borg
Bjorn Haneveer
Gary Wilson
