Giant Drag is a bit low me thinks :/ Fantastic song!!! One of those should have been #1... it peaked @ #3 in my chart and spent something like 7 or 8 weeks between #3 & #5!
The Raconteurs' Broken Boy Soldier was a very underrated song... I think it should have been the 2nd single instead of Hands which in my opinion killed all the fuss about the album and the band... Steady As She Goes wasn't as good as this either but it's more of a single choice than this... I think that it's a song that matches in quality with some of the White Stripes best!

Heres the last group before we reach the Top 100 110 Giant Drag – This Isn’t It 109 Panic! At The Disco - Buts It Better If You Do 108 Arctic Monkeys - View From The Afternoon 107 Guillemots - We're Here 106 Sigur Ros – Saeglopur 105 Stellastarr* - Sweet Troubled Soul 104 Pearl Jam - Worldwide Suicide 103 The Secret Machines - Lightening Blue Eyes 102 Guillemots – Trains To Brazil 101 Keane – Crystal Ball Some of the best new breakthrough acts of 2006 in this list and most have at least one other big song to come. The Guillemots are a strange band one or two songs I absolutely love, most are alright but a bit weird and some are unlistenable but very high up the list they have another track too come. Maybe 6 of those have a chance of making my chart.

Beauty Shop - Monster was a re-issue in 2006 having first come out in 2004. They had two more singles in 2005, Papers For Josie and A Desperate Cry For Help, the last of which reached NM #2. I haven't thought much of Morrissey this year apart from You Have Killed Me which I guess is higher up in yours. Cheers for the info. And I agree that YHKM was morrissey's best offering this year.
