Actually EP is wrong and you have closed the gap further. Rotherham only drew 0-0 with Crewe. I think it's very tight at the top now! That would make the gap only 11 points!

RESULTS: APRIL 24th 1. Andy 451 2. Frag 407 3=. Earl Purple 374 3=. Tom 374 5. misterhamster 363 6. Robin 352
Andy wins in the penultimate week, which is a high-scoring one with many home wins.
APRIL/MAY TABLE (5/6) 1 [1] Frag 1353 2 [2] Robin 1232 3 [3] Tom 1111 4 [4] Earl Purple 1100 5 [6] Andy 1089 6 [5] misterhamster 1056 7 [7] paddy 308
Only one change this week, with Andy climbing up one place. Frag remains on top, with Robin 121 points behind.
This week's stats Average score: 386.83 Easiest to predict: Spurs 1-0 Bolton: 600 pts (6/6 correct) Hardest to predict: Rotherham 0-0 Crewe: -32 pts (0/6 correct)
2009/10 TABLE SO FAR (37 weeks/38) 1 [1] Robin 10871 2 [3] Frag 10860 (11 pts back) 3 [2] Earl Purple 10662 (209 pts back) 4 [4] misterhamster 10025 5 [5] Andy 9947 6 [6] Tom 9419 7 [7] Thor 6503 8 [8] paddy 5455 9 [9] Maximo Mark 1540 10 [10] Mad Murray 649
It couldn't be tighter! Robin is just 11 points ahead of Frag going into the last round of fixtures. Earl Purple, 209 pts back, can still catch them, but needs an incredible round. In the race for 4th, Andy is 88 pts behind misterhamster, certainly recoverable.

This week's fixtures - SUNDAY, 4pm In the final week, the only sensible option seemed to be to go for all 10 Premier League matches. (Agreed, Robin?) I recommend that, since Robin and I are so close, we PM our scores to an independent adjudicator (would somebody who will be around on Sunday afternoon like to step up?). If Earl Purple wishes, he can send his predictions in this way too. The adjudicator would be responsible for posting up the predictions when they are all in (before 4pm Sunday!), and calculating the scores.
Either way, predictions should be up by 4pm on Sunday 9 May. Thanks for your predictions (and analysis) over the course of the season.

It's not the only sensible option as there was a full fixture list of League 1 and League 2 fixtures at the weekend so you could have gone for 5-3-2 from each division, for example.
Still now you have posted them no point changing them.
Robin is in the lead and has predicted first. If frag had predicted first, Robin could have ensured victory by just duplicating the results unless I somehow managed to leapfrog them both but my -22 a couple of weeks ago really put paid to any chances I had.
By seeing Robin's predictions I know that to have any chance of winning I must predict something different and hope the results follow my predictions and not his, although that does mean going for some upsets as he's simply gone for the obvious (with only Bolton vs Birmingham and Wolves vs Sunderland not having an obvious prediction).

Robin's and my predos side by side: Arsenal v Fulham HW8 / 5 Aston Villa v Blackburn HW4 / 6 Bolton v Birmingham HW3 / D 1 Burnley v Tottenham AW7 / 10 Chelsea v Wigan HW9 / 9 Everton v Portsmouth HW5 / 7 Hull v Liverpool AW6 / 3 Man Utd v Stoke HW10 / 8 West Ham v Man City AW2 / 4 Wolverhampton v Sunderland D1 / 2
So Robin and I agree on 9 out of our 10 predictions, with only Bolton-Birmingham differing. Therefore it'll probably come down to the priorities, with Robin more confident on Arsenal and Liverpool, and me more confident on Spurs. Earl Purple's predictions remain to be seen, presumably tomorrow morning/early afternoon.

I have to go for some surprising results to have any chance of claiming this.

Looks like robin is ahead at half time. I'm watching events unfold from the pub right now, but i'll do a minute by minute analysis when i get back home.

Come on Wolves! Other than that, West Ham and Hull are level at half time in their games, also Villa vs Blackburn.
If Wolves can score, Birmingham equalise and everything else stays the same I'm doing pretty well for myself.

GOAL!!!! for Wolves. Now things are going really well for me. Several draws I predicted too... And Spurs losing, with me giving them a lower prediction to win than the others did.

Everton get a late winner too! I put my 7 on that.
Only problem was Blackburn's winner which didn't help as my draw prediction was no better here than the Villa win predictions the others made.

Minute-by-minute: Robin vs Frag vs Earl Purple...
1600 BST: Remember, Robin starts 11 pts ahead of Frag, and 209 ahead of Earl Purple... so Robin only needs to equal Frag's score. As the games kick off, they're all equal, so the latest scores are Robin -44, Frag -22, Earl Purple 66 Frag ahead by 11
1605: Burnley 0-1 Spurs: Everyone predicted Spurs to win, but Frag put his 10 on it... R 33, F 88, EP 110 Frag ahead by 44
1606: Chelsea 1-0 Wigan: The glut starts, but makes little difference - it's 9 for Robin and Frag, and 10 for Earl Purple... R 132, F 187, EP 220 Frag ahead by 44
1608: Wolves 0-1 Sunderland: Frag and Robin both predicted draws, so this helps EP... R 121, F 165, EP 220 Frag ahead by 33
1610: Wolves 1-1 Sunderland: That didn't last long! R 132, F 187, EP 220 Frag ahead by 44
1617: West Ham 1-0 Man City: That's bad for Earl Purple, he had this one as a draw... R 132, F 187, EP 165 Frag ahead by 44
1620: Arsenal 1-0 Fulham: Due to tactical predictions, this is bad for Frag... he only has 5 points on Arsenal, Robin has 8... R 220, F 242, EP 231 Frag ahead by 11
1622: West Ham 1-1 Man City: Better for EP, he's back ahead on the day: R 220, F 242, EP 286 Frag ahead by 11
1631: Man Utd 1-0 Stoke: Robin goes into the lead as he had 10 on this, Frag only had 8. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Chelsea both go two up. R 330, F 330, EP 385 Robin ahead by 11, EP 154 behind Robin
1633: Bolton 1-0 Birmingham: A big blow for Frag; this was the only game he and Robin disagreed on, and Robin is getting it right... R 363, F 319, EP 374 Robin ahead by 55, EP 198 behind Robin
1650: HALF TIMES: No further results changing, but Arsenal are 3 up, United 2 up, and Spurs pegged back to 2-1.
1715: Burnley 2-2 Spurs (hahaha): As Chelsea and United both go 3 up, Burnley peg back Spurs, and it's more bad news for Frag... R 286, F 209, EP 330 Robin ahead by 88, EP 165 behind Robin
1732: Burnley 3-2 Spurs (hahahahahahahaha): Chelsea six up now and Bolton 2 up, but here Burnley take the lead. It makes no difference to the scores, though. It's just funny.
1736: Wolves 2-1 Sunderland: This gives hope to EP. Meanwhile, Brum pull a goal back, giving hope to Frag. Could it go to the wire? R 275, F 187, EP 418 Robin 99 ahead of Frag, but only 66 ahead of EP
1742: Aston Villa 0-1 Blackburn: A surprise score, and one that sets EP back by 22 pts. Meanwhile, Chelsea are 7 up while Arsenal and Man Utd are both 4 up. R 275, F 187, EP 396 Robin 88 ahead of EP, 99 ahead of Frag
1756: Everton 1-0 Portsmouth: This last-minute winner makes little difference... R 330, F 264, EP 473 Robin 66 ahead of EP, 77 ahead of Frag
Final Scores Earl Purple 473 Robin 330 Frag 264
Final Standings Robin 10871+330 = 11201 Earl Purple 10662 + 473 = 11135 Frag 10860 + 264 = 11124
ROBIN wins Footy Predicta 2009/10![/size]
Meanwhile, Earl Purple's gambles pay off as he snatches second place from Frag. Full results to come.

Cheers for your hard work Frag, hope you will carry on next season I'll echo that. I expected Chelsea to win 4-0 but had i known that Wigan would have a player sent off would have expected 5. Got lucky with my Everton points as their win was fortunate. Surprised to finish with such a high score and no tactics were involved They wouldnt have made any difference to my overall position!
