Tough draw for Poole Town as well against a Conference Premier team. In Poole's 3rd qualifying round game the referee was injured and replaces by one of the assistants. The only person qualified to take the assistant's place was the Poole kit man so, with Bashley's agreement, he took over Fortunately it was the other assistant who had to decide whether Poole's winner had actually crossed the line!

Sheffield, the oldest football club in the world won their replay tonight so they are one game away from the first round proper. They will be at home to Radcliffe Olympic or Tipton Town. If they win they might even meet Sheffield Wednesday.

So Hythe Town are the lowest-ranked club definitely through to the 1st round. Tipton Town and Leiston could join them after replays...

Amazing result for Hythe, shocking one for Eastbourne!
As for the draw, nice Haven style "Road to Wembley" feature on the show, Ebbsfleet really did struggle to get this far but fairly good win yesterday against a team playing with 10 men for a large part of the game. Wouldn't expect them to get anything at AFC Wimbledon. Good to see Hythe get a league team, a home draw would have been perfect, league team for Dartford at home if they can win their replay. Potentially Gills v Dover, very interesting if so, Hess against his old club and various ex Gills down at Dover (presumably still there), great draw for Fleetwood too. Guessing Andy is happy with Mansfield's draw, even if Hell's Bells wasn't really!
Leiston/Dartford v Port Vale looks a certainty to be televised if possible, Hythe's tie would have been had they been at home. Fleetwood may be televised too possibly, though i think they're more likely to pick a non-league side from a lower division.

Hereford v Hythe will be an important one, it could kickstart the Bulls' season or send them plummeting to oblivion. I suppose from the Hythe players' perspective they get a go at a League ground, so they'd rather play away. Daggers v Orient...tasty derby. Rochdale v FCUM would not be far off either. Met Police v Hendon was a Masonic derby. The pre-match handshake would take an age.

It's a decent draw for Ebbsfleet. Not too far to travel and it should be a good crowd so they should get a decent amount of money from it.
No doubt about the tie of the round for me as a Brighton supporter and former Woking season ticket holder.
