If they sung in English they'd be huge worldwide - Xenomania associates Yoad Nevo and Nick Coler are involved in production / writing. It's like early Frankmusik meets Ellie Gouding (though she looks more Kirsten Dunst!). Their name comes from the Herman Hesse novel which translates as (The) Glass Bead Game.

This is retro-tinged (like a seventies vibe) melodic instrumental dance that is a hit in Europe and getting played here by Pete Tong and others - ready to break when it gets a UK release. Discovered it on CZB's chart - it's a perfect example of the thing he goes for :wink: . Not sure why it's named Bullit - it has nothing in common with the classic film of the same name and is more wistful than forceful.

Autumn (Fall) / Winter / Christmas Season is back and there's a deluge of new albums out this week! So here's another rare Midweek Update.
It's busy all the way to December from now on.
Banks could occupy 80% of my top ten this week with Brain and Beggin' For Thread #1 contenders. Marnie could be top ten or top 15 with a new entry, as could Lights. Looking for top 20/30 are Make Out with several entries, Lamb, Ryan Adams and a couple of late EP entries for Amplifier. Re-entries from Banks, Death From Above 1979, Ballet School, Tricky and The 1975. Scraping the chart will be La Roux and Simian Mobile Disco.
