Wednesday's scores:
RONNIE O'SULLIVAN 13-3 SHAUN MURPHY BARRY HAWKINS 13-12 DOMINIC DALE MARK SELBY 13-5 ALAN McMANUS JUDD TRUMP 11-13 NEIL ROBERTSON
A great comeback from Neil Robertson to beat Judd Trump, having trailed 11-8. He finally got his 100th century of the season in the 22nd frame, having missed two good chances on Monday.
Dominic Dale almost pulled off one of the greatest Crucible comebacks of all time, winning 7 frames in a row this afternoon to lead Barry Hawkins 12-11, having trailed 11-5 overnight, but Hawkins managed to find his form to set up a repeat of last year's final with Ronnie.

I saw the end of the Trump / Robertson match - having watched other parts of the match as well - and it was pretty good. A Robertson - O'Sullivan final could be a classic.

Ronnie 6-2 up against Hawkins after the first session and it's already difficult to see Barry coming back from that. As I said last week, you can't afford to give Ronnie a session.
Whoever wins out of Selby and Robertson, it should be a great final assuming it's Ronnie who wins the other semi.

Good start for O'Sullivan. Looking ominous now for Hawkins.

Wish Dale had beat Hawkins, Hawkins looked like he peaked in week one and therefore was a bit easy for Ronnie, does mean Ronnie gets a break before the final which Neil or Mark won't be getting. Ronnie's for the taking to make a hat trick.

Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Barry Hawkins 17-7 with a session to spare to reach the World Championship final. Beginning the evening six frames ahead at the Crucible, the five-time winner extended his lead with a break of 76. Hawkins won two of the next three frames, but O'Sullivan, champion in each of the last two years, clinched four in a row to seal victory. O'Sullivan, 38, will meet either Neil Robertson or Mark Selby in the final.

Wish Dale had beat Hawkins, Hawkins looked like he peaked in week one and therefore was a bit easy for Ronnie, does mean Ronnie gets a break before the final which Neil or Mark won't be getting. Ronnie's for the taking to make a hat trick. That other semi is proving to be hard work for both players which just adds to O'Sullivan's advantage for the final.

I'd agree with that. Selby and Robertson are both capable of giving Ronnie a game but the winner will have played a lot more snooker going into the final, making a fresh Ronnie an even hotter favourite than usual.
