Sad news that Ali Carter has been diagnosed with testicular cancer and is undergoing surgery today. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Fingers crossed for him. He doesn't seem to have much luck health-wise. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/xKFbNBMdczwHHIvwbxXw.gif)

I think Eurosport sometimes shows them, and there's usually live streaming at World Snooker (you might have to pay) and on betting sites.

The last 64 prize money for India is £2000 and that's covering all their expenses too.

To be honest, I think 2 grand is probably fair considering they've only won one match to qualify, although as you say, much of that will disappear on expenses, which is a shame. I don't quite see the point of having these 64-player fields for overseas tournaments.

I agree. £2000 would be ok if it was another qualifying round then take the last 32 to the venue.

I've never liked Lee very much, so won't miss him. From what I've read, he seems to have thrown away his career for some rather small sums of money.

I don't think many would've predicted the semi-final line-up in Shanghai:
Xiao Guodong v Michael Holt Barry Hawkins v Ding Junhui
Ding and Hawkins are both proven tournament players of course, but I believe it's the first semi-final appearance in a ranking tournament for both Xiao and Holt.
