The NFL will hold its annual draft this week, starting tomorrow night. What has become an increasingly flashy affair in recent years with thousands of fans in attendance will be taking place in a virtual format this year with teams using a combination of video conferencing and email to confirm their selections. It was initially supposed to take place in Las Vegas, the new home of the Raiders, but instead Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the draft picks from his home in New York state.
The first round of the draft takes place tomorrow night, with the second and third rounds on Friday and the other four rounds on Saturday.

As China is claiming to have all but eliminated the virus, with its only new cases being detected in a tiny number of foreigners, presumably the Chinese Super League, will start up soon ? It was originally scheduled to begin on 22nd February, but was postponed at the time. Of course, the Super League might not start up soon, for some contrived reason, which, according to the Chinese Government and its state controlled media, has nothing whatsoever to do with coronavirus. Still no sign of the Chinese Super League starting up. I thought the Chinese Government has been claiming that coronavirus has been all but eliminated from the country since March. So, why haven't they started everything up again ? Perish the thought that the Communist Party might not have been telling the truth.

Also, it's been confirmed England will play the West Indies in a behind-closed-doors 3-test series starting on 8th July. The first test will be at the Rose Bowl with the other two at Old Trafford. The venues were chosen as they have on-site hotels, at which the players will stay during the matches.
