11 (+1) TLC :: 239 pts -- 12 listsAnother good showing for a 90s r’n’b act. Has anyone put money on Destiny’s Child to win, because their odds are shortening rapidly ? 2nd with raliverpool and 3rd with SheriffFatman. The Top 10 starts in a couple of minutes. o and Robbie are the only two people who included all of the Haven Top 10 in their personal Top 20s. Earl Purple, Razzle Dazzle and Shireblogger had nine of the Top 10.

I keep forgetting about The Pointer Sisters excellent run of singles from Automatic to Dare Me - must invest more time in a GH from them.

The Pointer Sisters were brilliant - especially the run of hit singles they had in the 80s, but they also released some great stuff in the 70s too.

10 (+18) Martha Reeves & Vandellas :: 246 pts -- 12 listsIs this the biggest climber into the Top 10 ? An outstanding performance for Martha and co, leaving them the undisputed 60s runners-up. Is this a good omen for the Supremes ? 4th place was the best they could achieve on any personal lists, with o and smokeyb.

9 (+64) Go-Go's :: 253 pts -- 11 listsA phenomenal 64 place rise to 9th for Belinda, Jane, Charlotte, Gina and Kathy. But they are the most marmite of Haven’s favourite female bands. They made 9 personal Top 10s, but missed the Top 20 completely for 9 people. Only two placed them between 11th and 20th. 1st overall for Shireblogger, 2nd for vastar iner, 3rd for TheThorne and 5th for Whitneyfan. Is the 80s block vote showing up in force. Who has money on Bananarama to win ? Or maybe, even, the Bangles as an each-way outsider ? Disappointment for vastar iner, who only has 3 selections left to appear, and the best of them was only 8th overall on his list. Robbie and Razzle Dazzle still have their Top 4 left.

8 (-5) Destiny's Child :: 297 pts -- 14 listsNo, it isn’t another award for Beyonce. Solid, but unspectacular, scoring for Destiny’s Child, with eight people placing them between 8th and 12th. They came 2nd with jra1989, 3rd with krescendo and 5th with Jordan.

Destiny's Child made my top 20 but at a lowly number 16. A couple more tracks like 'Lose My Breath' and they would have been much higher.

I thought The Bangles would have placed higher. Ah, well, there's my number 1 now gone.

The Bangles and The Go-Gos are both brilliant. Good to see them both in the top ten, although I thought The Bangles could be top five at least.

6 (+2) All Saints :: 338 pts -- 16 listsThey appeared in two more Top 20s than the Bangles, but only beat them by a point. They are Jordan’s favourites, came 3rd with onehitwonder and masenz, and 5th with Smurfie.

Was hoping All Saints would scrape into the top 5, but I knew that was a bit aspirational

Good showing for All Saints. Five really good albums from them. One being one of my favourite albums of all time.

So 5 left. In alphabetical order:- Bananarama, Girls Aloud, Spice Girls, Sugababes, Supremes.
Could be any of them to win, couldn’t it ?
But the biggest gap in points anywhere in the Haven Top 81 is the 44 points which separate 2nd and 1st. Which suggests it is a foregone conclusion who will triumph.
Twelve people have yet to see their 1st choice appear. Did you all pick the same group ?
