Two and a half years after leaving Marlon King does his FIRST good thing for Forest by moving to Fulham for £5m! A 20-25% sell on clause means we get atleast a million. Added to the 500k we sold him for it really isn't bad considering he's about the worst player we've had since I started supporting! Blimey thats a strong statement! He did well at Gillingham, Forest wouldnt have bought him in the first place otherwise. I heard rumours that he simply didn't fit into Forest's style of play, simply the wrong player at the wrong club, rather like a current Reading player... maybe it is harsh but hes not a premiership player and not worth 5 mil

His record was 15 in 57, not too bad. But in the league it was 10 in 50, of which it was about 5 in 30 the season we came down, 2 of which were penalties. I have never seen any player look so poor, slow and disinterested in a Forest shirt. He never once looked like he really wanted to be here, proved by the fact he was the only player in our squad not to turn up to the pre-season open day because he couldn't be bothered to get up!

Its easy to forget he scored 22 goals the season before last too in helping Watford win promotion. Tbh i'm surprised Watford have agreed to sell having originally said he wasn't for sale.

I think £5m (well 4 after they've paid us) and Collins John is a decent amount.
And they might be able to buy him back next season anyway if they go up and Fulham go down.
Useless again yesterday. Following up two excellent home wins and undo all the good work by losing away. AGAIN! And two own goals as well. Ridiculous! If we don't beat Millwall in midweek and haven't bought in a couple of players then the fans will be calling for the manager's head next weekend. And I can't say I'd blame them. Some of the time he's great but some of the time he's clueless. He only ever seems to change the side if its forced, last week we had no choice but to play 4-3-3/4-5-1 but this week we had Tyson back he should've changed but didn't.
His substitutions are often useless as well. Thornhill & Sinclair both came off the bench and played really well against Orient yet weren't even on it for this game. Considering our attacking options are limited anyway, it's completely bizzare. And having Lennon on there too. I don't see the point in having a holding midfielder on the bench if you don't plan to use him. It's a complete waste otherwise. Considering Swansea are about to run away with the league we really need to get our act together. If we don't go up this year we'll be down here for years...

The King deal may not happen now as he failed his medical.
Was surprised you lost yesterday, but after losing at Gillingham it wasn't a complete surprise. You did get a boost with Leeds shock home defeat yesterday though, still think you'll finish Top 2 although Swansea look home and dry for the title now. Oh, and i know what you mean about the manager only changing the team when he's forced to. Up until yesterday it was the same with Coppell recently..

We HAVE to beat Millwall tonight otherwise we'll be under so much pressure, especially after last night's games we now aren't playing on Saturday...
And then it's Swansea next Tuesday. This isn't a week I'm particularly looking forward too...

And we're losing to a goal scored by a former player. What a surprise...

Came back from 2-0 down to get a 2-2 draw, and from listening to 5 Live it sounded like you got of jail. Its strange, when your first goal went in i was convinced you'd get a result and actually imagined posting exactly that. Tyson scoring the equaliser too.

If the result proved one this it was that he regularly chooses the wrong tactics. He was right to scrap 4-3-3 and bring Tyson back but you can't play 4-4-2 with four central midfielders on. Commo and Davies come on to play wide with 10 minutes left and we score. Clingan, McGugan and Cohen are all fantastic players and could probably easily make the step up to CCC but one of them has to be left out!

Doncaster, Carlisle and LEyton Orient all lost last night! However, Doncaster did lose 4-0 at home to Swansea and we have them next... I think they've got this league sewn up now...

It seems you will be getting money from King after all. Hes joined Wigan for 3.5m.

So, 12 hours of waiting about to start. Coventry have rejected another improved offer for Best. I can't say I do want him for more than £1.25m but we do need a striker and I don't care who it is as long as he's good! Sharpe, Best, Eastwood, Hartson, Connolly - ANYONE!
A bid accepted for Barry Robson too. Would love to get him but with a choice of use or Celtic I doubt we will...

So that's why you have so much money, I'd assume most of it would be covering debts not spalshing on players, saying that, you need to get back into the championship!

We do indeed. If we don't go up Commons will be off on a free, Agogo will definitely agogo, and then I think we'd have to fight to keep Cohen, McGugan, Tyson, Wilson and Clingan. I think all can make it at Championship level...

Swansea need to start losing them, or there is just 1 place up for grabs and the play offs.

I still don't rate Calderwood, if he can't get the team promoted with all the money he's been given then he can't be very good at his job!

Oh I agree really. Fans seem to be split but I don't think you get anywhere without stability. But if we don't go up he has to go. Definitely.

CC OUT!
Flopped in the transfer market, 2 points from four games. Looking useless. He's had enough time and money to turn this club around and hasn't. Get him gone now before he makes sure we have atleast one more season in League 1!
