I know it would, but the arbitration panel's job is to decide whether the 15 point deduction was correct or not. If they find it wasn't they have to award their points back...

I thought it would, and looking at their reasons I think it should too. Considering their two main reasons for not allocating points were effectively 'the appeal was too late' and 'it'd be unfair on other clubs to award them back now'... Considering neither were Leeds fault at all seeing as the Football LEague wouldn't let them appeal I think they can count themselves a bit unlucky... Not that I'm complaining, roll on a full house Saturday!!

I've even changed my name back! I honestly still feel like I'm in dreamland. It feels so great to have finally got back to the CCC after three years down in League 1. I'm not old enough to remember any other success we've had but it feels unbelievable to finally have something to celebrate. Against all the odds too, came from miles behind playing awful, dull, negative football but somehow managed to string four wins together right when it mattered to take advantage of stuttering teams. I've never heard such a cheer or felt the ground shake as much I did when Cheltenham scored their second goal. It's only up to the Championship and it may be a far cry from our European successes of 30 years ago but it's still incredible. It's what being a football fan is all about, so pleased right now.

I watched the European Cup Final game on TV where Forest beat Malmo 1-0 in 1979.

When did you start following Forest then, Mark? Do you not remember the 3rd place finish in 1995 and the run to the UEFA cup Quarter-Finalss that followed it? (that kind of run was about as good as English teams got back then, except for in the Cup Winners' Cup) Or how about winning Division One in 1998?

Congrats, knew you'd be chuffed to bits, the trick is staying up now, tough league up there. Should do really. I looked at our squad from the season we went down today: GKs - Paul Gerrard, Colin Doyle, Barry Roach DFs - Wes Morgan, Alan Rogers, Mattheiu Louis-Jean, Chris Doig, Gregor Robertson, Andy Melville, Jon Hjelde, John Curtis MFs - Paul Evans, Kris Commons, James Perch, Andy Impey, Eion Jess, John Thompson, Daryl Powell, Ross Gardner, Shaun Derry, Eugen Bopp, Adam Nowland, David Friio, Kevin James STs - Gareth Taylor, David Johnson, Marlon King, Scott Dobie, Neil Harris, Jack Lester Andy Reid and Michael Dawson also had half-seasons... -------- That was an absolutely shocking squad, full of has-beens and journey men who were way past their potential and didn't really care. We now have a hungry, young squad full of players that aren't near their potential yet, we've got a load more really promising youngsters through who if are as good as the ones we got 6-7 years ago I'd be more than chuffed. We also had money to spend in League 1, we should get it in the CCC too. I think we need a backup keeper, a right back, possibly another defender for cover, a central midfielder and a striker (two if Agogo leaves) and we should do more than fine. Got to get Commons to sign too! I don't want too much, it'll be too soon, but mid-table (10th - 14th) should be well within our grasp!

Look at all those midfielders! I'd expect you to stay up next season, especially if you improve the squad. Mid-table sounds realistic. Congratulations on getting promoted
