2 pts gained for Spurs yesterday?
Their first goal against Man City was both handball and offside.

Boro would have beaten Arsenal by at least 4 goals if Eboue had been sent off...

Gallas should be sent off for THAT haircut as well!

Was actually thinking of this thread when we got our penalty against Liverpool, although in the end our 3rd goal made it irrelevant.

I think it was just about a penalty. The Reading player had his foot on the edge of the are when he was fouled. That means it was inside the area.

Gallas should be sent off for THAT haircut as well! Or at least sent to the hairdressers at half-time!

What's the verdict on Sunderland's disallowed goal? Keane's livid but I think if a player has his arm in the keeper's face, a foul is a reasonable call...

I agree. It may have been a bit harsh but it's perfectly clear why there was a foul given...

In instances like that the decision normally goes in the goalkeeper's favour. You can barely breathe on the goalkeeper without conceding a foul nowadays.

Two goal-line decisions going the wrong way yesterday... Reading's winning "goal" against Sunderland, and Villa's non-winning "no goal" against Man City. So I make that Reading gained 2, Sunderland lost 1, Villa lost 2, City gained 1. Goal-line technology anyone?

Yeah agree with that. Wasn't sure on Villa's but they seemed to prove it on MOTD last night...

How the table would look!
1 Man Utd 42 (2) 2 Arsenal 41 (1) 3 Chelsea 35 (3) 4 Man City 34 (4) 5 Aston Villa 32 (8) 6 Everton 31 (6) 7 Portsmouth 30 (7) 8 Liverpool 29 (5) 9 West Ham 26 (10) 10 Blackburn 25 (9) 11 Newcastle 25 (11) 12 Reading 19 (12) 13 Bolton 17 (14) 14 Birmingham 17 (16) 15 Tottenham 16 (13) 16 Middlesbrough 15 (15) 17 Fulham 15 (17) 18 Sunderland 14 (18) 19 Wigan 14 (19) 20 Derby 6 (20)
Not loads of change but it does affect it a bit!

According to Sky Sports though, both decisions were technically correct, although they questioned whether the linesman at the Reading game could possibly have known it.

according to Sky Sports it did cross the line.

according to Sky Sports it did cross the line. And according to the BBC, it didn't. I think we can conclude from that that current technology isn't good enough.
